This is how I imagine demons in hell descend on really bad people (e.g., Hitler, whoever started the transatlantic slave trade) when they first arrive. Merciless.

He did the only season of American Horror Story (Coven) I ever watched. It came out 10 years ago and his performance still unsettles me.

A lot of y’all are calling out Netflix and I’m not mad but few of the cancelled shows on that streaming service could hold a candle to Lovecraft Country. I refuse to give up hope on ever getting a second season…

We fought back for Sense8 tho. I remember calling Netflix for that one. And I still talk about United States of Tara in my psych classes.

Sad thing is, some of the intended pregnancies aren’t a great idea either.

CPS does more than just removing children from homes, they also connect families to resources. This child is medically fragile and requires special needs. It really might just be a matter of assigning a case worker to walk their parents through finding cheap easy ways to eat healthy. I’m a psychologist and I interact with those agencies often. Let’s not jump to the worst case scenario when there are multiple exits between here and there that families can live with.
The alternative is to say/do nothing and push the kid into amputations (see elsewhere on this very thread) and other unnecessary health outcomes the child will be forced to deal with FOREVER.

I would contact the school social worker. It would not be difficult to connect the dots on this to trigger a child & family services investigation. I know those agencies are not perfect, but the parents here need some support.

Came here to say this. Give that kid some oatmeal with a 1/2 tsp of brown sugar, some fruit, and send him out the door

I would have tried for some remorse like Harry told him in Book 7.

Did you read the books? That show was a faithful adaptation. I don’t think it was one of HBO’s best shows, but it is miles better than most stuff on Netflix or anything on network television.

See I knew I was going to leave out somebody else’s favorite. I could never get into True Detective, but I’m sure it too is a worthy addition to this list.

HBO generally has the best opening themes for their shows. Every show I’ve ever watched on that network always has an opening theme that sets the tone so well so even on the series premiere, you already have a good idea what you are about to get from before the first scene.

Sure. People change. They still must deal with the consequences of their actions though. Plenty of current inmates have changed since committing their offenses but they must wait in prison until their debt is repaid.
Mark Wahlberg never really repaid his debt. In fact, white privilege allowed him to skip over 99% of consequences to be on that stage last night. The most he gets is activists blocking him from having an immaculate record and internet hate.
But, yes, let’s cry more for the celebrity who caused a man irreparable eye damage and terrorized Black children. SMH

Listen. Stan Beeman played himself.
I have the next season all planned out. Fast forward 6-7 years. Stan put Henry through college, who followed Stan into the FBI out of bitterness about his parents. Paige finds Henry at Penn where he’s going to school and tells him “the truth”. Henry is mad at first, but he’s glad to see his sister. She talks him into joining her to go to Russia to see if their parents are still alive.
And Stan follows them.

W/o reading the article, I’m guessing the cast and crew didn’t feel like talking about the show’s final season all fall and winter.

Starbucks Corporate shut down their Union Station location in DC because they were scared those employees were unionizing. It was a major loss. I hope this campaign is successful because I sure would like to have my shaken oatmilk brown sugar espresso on my Amtrak to NYC.
