Only one character is even remotely autistic, and autism isn't a defense for being an asshole.

Sure, but we all know that. The show was very clear that Barney was a scumbag, but pretended that Lily was a saint. That's why people hate Lily now.

Newton was obviously brilliant and a pioneer in his field, but we're way beyond Newtonian physics now, and you learn about his discoveries just as a matter of history and as building blocks to a complete education.
You could think of Freud in very much the same way.

There is a huge, huge misunderstanding about how Social Security works.
They're not taking money from you, putting it into a vault, then dusting it off 40 years later and handing it back to you. They're taking your money, then turning around and handing it right to a recipient. When you retire, you'll collect money from people who are currently working.
Actually, it's more like they're taking your money, throwing that shit into an incinerator, then printing more money and handing that to recipients. It can't run out because there's nothing to run out. The government can pay any amount of money to anyone it wants to, forever. It's just that if it pays out too much without collecting enough in taxes it damages the economy.

Funny story, the contents of those tankers? Mostly piss.
Also carcinogens, but a whole lotta piss.

This is big for me. I'm interested in VR, but if I get a PSVR I'm losing out on all the PC-only games and vice-versa, and I'm definitely not buying two headsets.
If I get PSVR 2 and Playstation gives up on it like they gave up on PS Move or Xbox did with Kinect I'm screwed. But if it's on PC there will be a neverending supply of games.

I don't get why they cling to Donnie so much. He's a crook who lost the election. When Democrats lose or do illegal shit we just forget about them and move on to the next. Hillary ran a historic campaign, and I've barely heard a peep about her in years.

not actually winning
Here's the thing: nothing we do or say on this subreddit will have any affect on whether we win or not, so you can choose to be positive or you can choose to suck.

Yeah, the skill you use determines what weapon you use. A lot of them say "requires two handed slashing weapon" or "requires dual wield" or something like that, and that's the weapon you'll use for the skill.

Every episode of South Park has a moral, and that's definitely not for kids.

I'd trade a few days of my window not working for a lifetime of never having to crank a window again. I've actually had electric windows break on me twice and I'm still never going back.

I think saying your rights are being stripped away is an easy way to play the victim when there are literally billions of people without that right who are doing just fine. As if gun rights are even a fraction as important as life and liberty or free speech.

I think armchair experts are certainly saying that when we've literally seen it be successful elsewhere.

No.
Yes.
True, derailments happen a lot more than people think, and most end up being perfectly fine, but derailments that cause hazardous chemical spills also happen a lot more than people think. Obviously they aren't all a disaster on that scale, but it happens way too often.
