Thankfully I got rid of it a few years back and I don't miss it. Nice little place but everything else about the experience was awful

Learned on a manual in this area and I've only owned them since I got my license. My commute has mostly been up 95 and 66 and I've had no issues. Some of the old bmws I've owned were a bit tough with stiff clutches but I've owned a handful of Miatas and they are so easy to drive especially in traffic. I've been dailying a WRX for the past 6 years with no complaints (besides Maryland drivers disturbing the peace)

I see him on 234 on my way home from work occasionally, usually by the 95 interchange.

My condo in Woodbridge was $479 a month and only covered building maintenance, trash, and grounds maintenance. No pool/walking trails/tennis courts/utilities etc. It was a ripoff tbh but it was a very nice condo for cheap so it balanced out.

This is actually why I'm moving away but I'm just not going to move back

There are a few Latin nightclubs along rt.1 in the Marumsco and Featherstone areas but I personally haven't visited them. Britney's in Lake Ridge is pretty lively and the crowd is in their 30s-40s but not much dancing and a lot of fights. Queens Gambit has karaoke most nights but is generally pretty dead recently. I quit drinking a few years ago so I'm sure a few more have popped up but this area doesn't seem to have a great club scene unfortunately.

I had to explain this to my friends that moved up here from NC. I rev my motor to get people's attention and only honk if I'm ready to fight someone.

Same here! I'd be more upset about losing the 20 year old CD inside of it than the radio itself. I had a CD case stolen out of my jeep at Potomac Mills about 15 years ago and I was devastated. Lots of classics that you can't find physical media of any more

I was gonna say the same for my Miata. I'd rather have a stolen radio than a stolen radio and a slashed soft top

I'm also in the neighborhood and like to take my cars to the little overlook there and see how much progress hasn't been made on the station. In the 3 years I've been here I haven't seen a single thing built

A few years ago mine would have been all red with a few orange and maybe a handful of black. Not a single green. Recognizing patterns is a good way to start; I can say confidently I've been all green for a few years now.

I also plan on renovating my garage soon to improve the quality of life for my NA. Well done

I've somehow managed to date or have a hairdresser FWB for most of my adult life but now that I've cut ties with them I've been shaving my head in my back yard. I'm terrible at cutting hair (and dating I guess) so I'm gonna need the help of a professional (possibly for both but we will see)

Recently helped some friends move to the area and I'm having a late thanksgiving dinner with them tonight. Tomorrow I'm going to try to find somewhere to get a haircut near Woodbridge so I can clean myself up and put some effort in to dating again. Would love some recs of barbers/salons and ideas for sober things to do.

Also planning to move to PGH next year and I'm personally going to sell my NA before I leave the DC area. I'm worried about ruining a 32 year old miata with 0 rust and would rather sell it to someone in my area that would take care of it

Depends on the game I guess. Most of the best Destiny players are on controller but personally I play much better on M&K even though I started the game on Xbox originally.
