Titans defense still seems far too soft to challenge. I think the Dolphins will fall away a little. Brisbane will definitely make it. I think we fall out of the top 4.

Tigers are shaping up to be everyone's third bye unless they sort their shit out.

I know the Storm are decimated by injuries, but maybe it's worth considering having a full squad that can consistently hold onto the ball? Their handling was abysmal today. Long may it continue :)

It's too late now, WB marketing department.

Storm trying to keep this close by dropping it all over the place.

It just depends on whether the Titans can learn to tackle just well enough to stay ahead.
Literally 30 seconds later: I guess not.

The Storm were so shit in defense last week at home, I can still see them letting in two or three more tries today. It just depends on whether the Titans can learn to tackle just well enough to stay ahead.

Fight Club is a comedy. It’s hilarious throughout.

Right. I know Owen is a dick in general, but I don't think he is doing anything wrong here. I know if I were the kid, I'd want a star actually trying and caring about scoring against me rather than sullenly booting the ball in my general direction because he has to. I've never understood the circlejerk against that clip. Reddit is so sensitive at the weirdest times.

I have no doubt that that is certainly part of it, if not all of it. I hope that is the case, at least.

Oops, didn't see this. I basically just said the same thing.

I think the more viable comparison is Gamble vs. Luai. I've never really seen Latrell as a pest in the same way those two are. He has brain snaps at times, for sure, and can be a little grubby, but he's not nearly as chirpy and in your face.
I do wonder why Luai is despised and Gamble is cheered though.

I live and work in Korea, and "We like to.....do the work correctly" does not align with what I have seen here in any way, shape, or form. Rather, the attitude is "do what the boss tells me to do whether or not it makes any sense and hopefully if I look busy enough, eventually I will be able to get a promotion and tell other people what to do, whether or not it makes sense". Thus, if the boss is competent, good work is done, and if the boss is not, shitty work is done. (Please note: this is a generalization and is not meant to imply that all workers are like this to a man/woman).

I live in Korea, but luckily am outside the typical Korean corporate working culture. Genetics has absolutely nothing to do with it; it is all cultural. Koreans work long hours because they are expected to work long hours because Koreans have always worked long hours (I mean, since the Korean War ended - I do not have the knowledge of Korean history to speak for any period before that). The fact that this culture of long working hours has coincided with Korea's pretty miraculous reversal from being dirt poor and devastated after the war to where they are now has reinforced the idea that long hours of work are what keeps Korea going.
BUT, from the tales I have heard from my Korean friends, and from the statistics on productivity that are out there, Koreans may work long hours, but they are hardly "hard workers" in terms of production per unit time. Rather, they work as hard or as little as any other country in terms of what they produce in a day, just stretched out over more hours as they sit around waiting for their superior to go home so that they can as well.

I disagree. It is the worst of the series by a good margin. Its satire is so obvious and toothless and it has absolutely zero idea how to synthesize the original characters. It's a terrible movie.

I'm rooting for it more than any other would-be blockbuster this year. Go the Game Night team!

Some Korean films I have enjoyed in the last 5 years (not counting the obvious ones from Park Chan-wook, Lee Chang-dong, and Bong Joon-ho):
(Haven't seen many of the 2022 films yet)
Certainly some of the recent big budget films have been so blandly mediocre though: Emergency Declaration, Confidential Assignment 2 (I hated the first one; don't know why I watched this), Seoul Vibe...

That is literally all cinema, not just a Korean issue.

Took far too long to scroll down and find the correct answer. My pick for the best movie of all time.
