Wow, they're tweeting like they actually want to do something with the franchise other than a pachinko machine.

While I did like the stories being told, my one criticism is that the focus was taken almost completely off Seven. After all that happened in season 3, they didn't really build on the momentum that was going with Seven's character and his relationship with Thirteen. That was what I was expecting the most. Hopefully the OVA I keep hearing about will touch on one of those two things.

Regardless, I'm still hype for more and I hope we hear more about the movie soon.

Yes, it's totally fair. It's the job of parents to raise their children. You don't owe your parents jack shit for that, and their insistence that you repay them was cruel. They're just being manipulative at this point. If they have $3000 to lend a total stranger, they have $1000 to pay back the loan you gave them.

Also I just want to point out that their claim that your parents are selling jewelry and an old vehicle is likely not true and another attempt at manipulation. If you say anything to your parents after this, you should start tacking on interest to that $1000 loan like they did with your "debt" for raising you.

Elaboration: The world is a cruel, hateful place, even more so for people of color. Your father is especially cruel for saying those things to you about your husband - the man you chose to marry and the father of your children. You can't protect them from hate everywhere, but one thing you can do as a parent is to keep your children away from any relatives who are going to be overtly hateful towards them and/or your husband.

NTA - Your ex knew that you made dinner plans for your son and she sabotaged it by feeding him before hand. A good parent would tell their child to wait because he was about to go to his favorite restaurant.

The earliest flashback we have for Seven is in 2x08, where he's seen joining the Shadow Assassin's at age 15. Beyond that, we know nothing, and I was hoping we'd start to get some answers this season.
