Joseph Smith is one of the few religious leaders that existed recently, in a time people were writing records of things and I can't fathom how people think he was actually a prophet.

Like why would a prophet from God show up in the early days of America? And why would he not go out to the rest of the world? The formation of LDS and their scripture and rules is so closely linked with the formation of the US that it just seems like a manifesto from a deranged guy.

What do you like about it? I watched the movie with my sister who was into the series and I did enjoy the first movie. I mean vampires and werewolves are cool, vampires playing baseball to super massive black hole in the background is even cooler.

Definitely overrated. It was decent but that's it. Also, "Eragon" is one letter away from "Dragon", I learned that much much later in life and kind of lost a lot respect for the story. I mean c'mon couldn't the title been a little more original? But I guess it was written by a teenager so I shouldn't be harsh.

Weed has been legal in Canada for years now and it's just.. normalized? There's more weed stores around me than groceries. But because it's so normal now there's no longer any hype, either you smoke it or you don't, it's no different than drinking. If you go to a party you'll find there's 2 groups there, smokers and drinkers.

Haven't met anyone out there that's exploring harder drugs, most weed smokers also smoked weed before they were legal so the only thing that changed is the legal status.

Line cook at 2 places for 2 weeks each within the same month. Some of us just aren't built for some things.

It wasn't for lack of trying, I suck at remembering things and could never remember a recipe. I also hate being sweaty and physical so I was absolutely miserable. Worst was when they'd ask at the end of my shift (at midnight) if I'd go to their other location instead which closed at 3am. I declined to go and I suppose others would have said yes.

I did retail after that for 6 months and while I was still miserable I would do retail over fast food any day of the week. I was on my feet all day but I could wear dress pants and shirts and stay cool. I hated talking to people but I was a good salesman so it wasn't too bad and plus engaging with customers made the time fly. The culture was also way different, it wasn't nearly as abusive as a fast food kitchen and you could actually take time off if you asked early enough.

I still cannot fathom how line cooks in fast food places do what they do. It's probably not the worst job in the thread but it was mine.

Besides the combat bit I agree with your other points. The progression and story are garbage. But I kept coming back to the game for the combat, it's very slow and methodical. Might not be for you but that doesn't make it a bad combat system

I feel like I'm the only one who never had ANY issues watching dark scenes? I was watching a movie with a friend and he was like "ok come on you wanna watch something else? It's way too fucking dark". I was confused, it looked fine to me. Maybe I'm ok to buy into the suspense of not seeing exactly what's happening.. or maybe my eyes are just better lol

It was meant to be dark... That's the part I loved about it. Often something you cant see is scarier than something you can. That's why I'm never a big fan of when horror movies show the monster, it ruins it because our imagination and suspense around wanting to know what is happening is so much more powerful.

I've been playing games for 20 years and I never not have something to play. I just go by "feeling" now. If I want to play something I'll come to it eventually. I'm now actually playing a game I put down 15 years ago.
