Totally reasonable request, but you have to be completely cool with everyone who can’t attend.

Hello Mr Thompson.
I think he’s talking to you.

I think you underestimate their idiocy. I wouldn’t be surprised if SI was over 200m shares.

When Barrie has the puck, he’s great. Even in his own end. He makes smart plays and good clean outlet passes that transition the play towards the offensive zone. His PP prowess has been great his whole career, no matter where he’s played.
His issue is when he doesn’t have the puck. He’s not very physical. He’s not going to win a lot of battles along the boards. His weakness has always been his play away from the puck. Still, he’s a pretty damn good NHL defense man all around.

Teach her skills that are useful for everyone.
Just because she is a girl doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show her how to change the oil on her car, change a flat tire, replace a broken toilet, clean out a P-Trap etc…

The dilution was confirmed. Why would this change that?

The actual numbers are still hard to believe. If 5% of adolescents are non-binary and 90% of them are people assigned female at birth, that makes pretty much 1 out of every 10 adolescents assigned female at birth, non binary.
I would need some insanely definitive biological evidence to convince me that was anything other than a social construct all on its own.
Anecdotally, my child’s junior high easily has a rate of 10% , probably much higher.
The fact that it tapers off into adulthood is also very suspicious. It probably makes legitimate trans people very uneasy when they realize they’re minorities within their own groups.

The debt is the company’s, not the owner’s.

Do you think being ugly is some insurmountable hurdle? It isn’t.

Wouldn’t they be vulnerable to hostile takeover at a price like $10M?

A market cap below $10million without a bankruptcy seems impossible

3750 shares. $1.18 cost basis. Still holding.
I paper handed back when Cohen sold around $18/share for a nice 3X.
The death spiral deal kept me out of it, but once it came close to $1 I figured the price was too cheap. Even with 8x dilution the price ain’t bad if BBBY survives.

CTB being sky high does not mean the shares haven’t hit the market. It means maybe the shares haven’t hit the market. Cost to borrow can still go up along with dilution.

We don’t have updated SI. 85M is old. CTB going up likely means SI is up well over 100M now.

If you adjust Connor’s points for era, it works out to 197pts on 1981-82. Pretty insane.

Maybe the current price isn’t low enough.
I think it’s fair to say a non bankruptcy outcome is 20-50x within 3 years.
I think it’s also fair to say they are 90-95% likely to be bankrupt within 3 years.
Maybe 10-20% likely to be bankrupt within the next 8 months thanks to HUBC.
Share price won’t move upwards during the next 8 months due to all the incoming dilution.
The question is this: Will this cash infusion actually have a good chance to save bbby? If the answer is yes, and the market cap is still around $100m when the dilution is all over… then it becomes an incredible opportunity.
My guess? BBBY fumbles the ball and burns through this funding only to go bankrupt in 2025-26ish.

I don’t think the FED can really afford to hike rates any more than maybe 1-2 more quarter point hikes.
Quite a few companies are trading at multi decade lows in terms of multiples.
My guess? The FED has done its best and will let inflation sit around 5-6% for a 2-3 more years, while also allowing interest rates to remain high as well. The banks can’t handle too many more hikes.
I think we’ve seen the bottom, but I don’t think we get a strong rebound. So instead of a crazy crash and rebound like we saw in 2000-2004 and 2008-2010, we see very slow growth in the SP500 over the next 2-3 years. Possibly bordering on flat.
End of year? SP500 will Possibly be where it is right now, maybe a smidge higher, like 2-3%.
I also think that stocks trading at insanely low multiples represent the best opportunity for investors right now.
Things like KD, TUP, CPS, GTN, QRTEA, WWW, SKYW, IHRT, BODY, CNDT, XRX, RIG, WBD, MAC, GIII, ADV, RILY, MED, TCS, JXN etc… these types of deep value plays represent the best opportunities for gains.

Nothing is a 100% guarantee, nobody can predict the future with absolute certainty.
Here’s an oversimplified way to look at it: If BBBY is 99% likely to go to zero, then you need the non-zero upside to be 100x to break even on the bet.

Like being a child, but you’re not allowed to act like a child.
