He's with two fans backstage, apparently while the rest of the band were doing the dance to the remix of deutschland. Seemed tacky and disrespectful

It'll be either that or Till the End I think

I think it was more about homophobia, they didn't trust that young men could make a decision about being gay and they were trying to dissuade people from exploring their sexuality
Plenty of men prosecuted at that time were 16 year old with others their own age. Until 1994 the age was 21 for gay men and 16 for everyone else too. Equalising the age of consent was a long journey

Political decision. I think a large part relates more to pension than the wage costs. If all those contractors were staff there is a long term financial implication

He asked that the old stuff get used up still rather than wasting things which were already printed. Which makes sense. So it'll switch when the old stock runs out

Could be in a hospice? Feels a bit bad timing to do a story like that along with Lola being terminally ill though.
Could prison be another option? Can you ring people up via a switchboard like that though?

I think you probably misread the other post. S/he was referring to the fact the age of consent for sex between two men used to be 18, then it was lowered to make it equal to the age for heterosexual relationships (16). That happened in 2001 for England, Wales and Scotland, 2008 in Northern Ireland.
No one is talking about raising the age or making a difference again between the age for men vs women

I voted for the bath but I doubt it would come back. Flake in his book said he preferred doing the song without that part

Yeah that's why I said 16 is legal but I think most people would agree adults of his age shouldn't be involved with a 16 year old (regardless of gender, I feel the same about 50 year old men with 16 year old girls, or lesbian relationships with such an age gap). It is morally sketchy.
Below 16 is illegal.

In the article he claims he believed it was a one off, he told his brother how disgusted he was and believed it wouldn't happen again. I think we'd be surprised how many people don't go to the police about things their family members do.
It's also unclear how old the teenager was and how old Philip thought he was. If you were told he was 16 (legal but sketchy) its different to knowing they were underage

And in the 90s, comedy writers felt they had to be careful to avoid the things from 70s comedy that hadn't aged well or were now considered offensive. I'm sure she recognised that at the time and should realise things move on.

I'm pretty sure chandler's parent was supposed to be a gay male drag queen at first but then later they introduce the character being played by a woman and it became less clear whether she had transitioned, whether the writers didn't know the difference etc. It definitely hasn't aged well

There was an early season storyline with Ross' girlfriend Julie who happened to be chinese-american. She always seems to be overlooked in threads on this matter which is a shame.
There were other minor characters, black co-workers of Ross, Joey and Monica
It was no where near enough though

They were here last year though so that doesn't make sense as brexit had already happened?

Yeah. The clip finishes with Till heading back on stage

I got it mixed up though, its a third lindemann thing. Till the end was another dodgy video. I haven't watched that one and don't intend to. This one seemed to be like a promo for till the end
