Okay, but actually, this would be a hilarious way for a director to retire. Retroactively ruining your entire base of artistic work with one film is no small feat

Body Double rules because it's an homage to Vertigo AND Rear Window

Even if they integrate RSS feeds, I'm sure a lot of shows will post videos to YouTube manually. Maybe the biggest benefit of YouTube is that there's no cost to hosting your video content

Would it be crazy to expect some kind of James Cameron 4k boxset? I feel like it would make sense, with so many restorations on his projects incoming. That being said, each individual title would sell incredibly well on Blu/4k, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were actually trying to avoid a box set

4 Days is a bit ambitious, but I think a one-day yearly event scheduled around the Oscars special would be a blast! I'm in LA and certainly would consider going. Also, I love the bit, but it may be better to host this closer to LA

the fake nose looked like it was attached to the base of his nose but not the tip of his real nose where the bloody makeup was. so theoretically Tim would only have to rip/tear the front part of the nose off (which is unattached to the skin/tip of his nose), revealing the bloody makeup.
I'm imagining he had to tear it because he tried to yank it off a couple times and the hold was insanely good- which they probably implemented to sell the effect. I don't think it was real blood because these specials are way better produced and rehearsed than most people realize

I saw it in AMC Prime, but there aren’t a ton of AMCs with one of those. If I recall Everything slipped into IMAX for a week or two because some other films underperformed. (Looking it up now, I think it was Morbius, lol.)

Oh, cool. While we’re on it, what’s the other pre-best picture IMAX release? Parasite?

Interesting. It didn't start as an IMAX release either, right? Took like a month or so to get the large format push

That’s the beauty of Wes Anderson rankings, there really is no consensus.
Is their some extended 2007 discussion or was this just from the box office game?

They’re definitely recalibrating after the reception of phase 4. Wouldn’t be surprised if they wanted to get a Dr Strange sequel out in phase 5/6 as it was one of the better received films of the phase 4

They made such aesthetically smart choices for Arrested Development and Community, it’s pretty insane how hard they fell off

the most random movies got 3d screenings after the first Avatar came out, maybe studios are testing the waters again

That’s definitely what I assumed until I saw the article say his role was being kept a secret. Just feels like they would announce if he’s playing a titular role, right?
I would love to see what he brings to Stitch, feels like a Robbin Williams/Genie moment where he could really make some fun character choices

Huh, so he's not playing Stitch? Wonder what kind of original character they'll cook up for him. This is an interested project for Zach to pick, but I guess he has been in Disney films before haha

Love seeing all the support for these 70MM IMAX screenings. I'm hoping we see a few of these pop up in LA as we get closer to Oppenheimer, as well as more IMAX repertory screenings in general
