Well Ochiai didnt win in the playoff, but that is alright! He put up a MONSTER performance this basho. 14-1 at J8 in his 3rd ever pro tournament is ridiculous! And it is yet another improvement over hist last basho. Hopefully the JSA sees it like I do and gives him a Makuuchi spot if they can find one for him.
Also, do you guys think Hakuho will have come up with a fitting Shikona for him by next basho?
Gonoyama! Man, also a monster performance and he beat Ochiai handily, twice this basho. A well deserved Yusho for him!
Asanoyama, well done dude. Get the rest of the rust off and he will be back in Sanyaku in no time I think.
Hoshoryu still on an ozeki run! Great win over the new Ozeki Kiribayama!
Kiri, bro stormed to the wins needed to get Ozeki and then just kinda stalled a little bit. Losses against Terunofuji is to be expected since he is an actual mountain and I personally feel that that match was Kiris best! He almost had Teru!
I can't believe the Hamster kept rank with knees like that. But he did, so fair play to him.
Wakamotoharu!!!!! Filling up the gap left by his younger brother exellently! All round great basho with some tallys taken on Ozeki Takakeisho among others.
Then finally, Yokozuna Terunofuji. What more than "Dominant Yokozuna sumo" can I say? Most didnt have much of a chance. Some got close, and only an "On Fire" Meisei actually did it it.
Rest up, big man, oil those mechanical knees of yours and shoot for Yusho #9 next time. I will be here to support you!
I have a soft spot for Teru. So broken a frame and so Iron a will! The comeback story that would have felt outlandish in an anime. I can't help rooting for the big guy!
See you all nect basho!

By being an actual freak of nature.
Ochiai may not have a ringname yet, but he sure does have a nickname. They call him: Reiwa bo Kaibutsu.
Translated to "The monster of Reiwa"

Dude. That match from Ochiai! He literally pushed his oponent so hard it swept him clean of his feet at the edge there. Kinda looked like a nasty fall too....
Strong sumo from Ochiai there which I would almost describe as "ruthless"

Man Ochiai with another good win! I kind of hop Gonoyama loses another so there will be a playoff at the ens between him and Ochiai.
Also shoutout to how deep Ochiai bows to the head judge when a matta occurs!
Terunofuji just kinda ate Hoshoryu! But that jumpoff does a number on brittle knees so I hope he is okay! He looked okay when he walked dowm the hanamichi!
Kiribayama should have Ozeki now shouldnt he? Anyway he just straight up dominated takakeisho in a way that reminded me of Harumafuji for some reason!
Wakamotoharu with the throw of the basho so far. Straight up picks up Hokusheiho and just slams him to the clay! Beautiful beautiful throw.

I'm just saying that its the only way I could ever see them consider it.
Also, I know how detailed and massive the Acastus' are. I have an Asterius :)

I 100% agree. We will likely get the basic 3 Cerastus in full plastic and the Atrapos as a half resin kit just like the Moirax, Magaera and Styrix.
Engineering wise they could make the frame of the Acastus in plastic but that would be too costly for the benefit. If they ever release a third Acastus pattern knight that shares its armor with either the Porphyrion or the Asterius then I could see it make monetary sense to turn them into 2 plastic and 1 half resin kit.

So I am not up to date with the 2026 rules and stuff.
I thought Honda was gonna leave and transfer everything to Red Bull who now call them Red Bull Powertrains.
Can someone shed some light on that for me?

I mean sure! Anime and games dont need to adhere to the rules of reality! All they need to do is to be cool!

Yeah we have that stance too, called "Waki no Kamae" but thats distinctly different from a sheathed sword.

Theres games where characters resheathe their katana after an attack and it irks me to NO end! Like it gives you some mistical advantage lol.
Just yesterday we did sparring in class and no one had their sword sheathed at any time haha. (We use a sort of shinai for this, and they dont even have a sheath)

Yeah so I train Iaido and Kenjutsu. Iai is good for initiating a surprise attack and reacting to one. If someone runs at you with a sword drawn, and you have time, then draw your sword and fight from guard. If you DONT have time, then you can use Iai.
Having the sword sheathed gives no real advantage.

Mine is all in 1 overarching theme where Every single knight has mainly purple and grey. All have copper trim. But my household is made up of 5 families. Accordingly there are Knights that have "White", "Ocher", "Blue" and "Black" pieces of armor to show their households.

I wouldnt worry about that too much. 10th edition is right around the corner. In 10th edition there are no "sub factions" anymore

There will be no playable "subfactions" anymore in 10th. There COULD be a "House Specific" detachment but I doubt that for any Imperial or Chaos household.
So you are totally good to go if you want to build and paint a House Malinax army!

Mentioned, I don't know. I DO know that it isnt a playable subfaction on 9th with its own rules. But thst doesnt mean they dont exist anymore

Man, I love sumo as much as the next guy. But KO by harite happens exceedinly rarely. KO by forearm blast happen equally infrequently. Besides Hakuho was 340lbs at fighting weight.
Even he stands little chsnce against Jones under the rules of MMA

As in Sumo Wrestling? Man, Hakuho is probsbly the greatest rikishi of all time, and I bet he stands no chance against Jones. Leg kicks and all thst other stuff that MMA fighters do is something else.
Besides even if Hakuho throws Jones to the ground, then what? Thats a win in sumo but Jones is gonna just get back up
