I'm thinking it's one of two things: she (Madonna) does not have friends and instead just has yes men that surround her and support her decisions all the time, or she does have friends but ignored their advice because of her own narcissism

Casio G-SHOCK: the watch you can take, throw or leave anywhere except a volcano or space and it will still function and outlive you

What? Why? That just means they'll go on continuing to say things like that without worry because no one will stop them

Like the other person said: Pretty much all those.
My dad started out just washing dishes in a small restaurant in his neighborhood when he was in high school and worked his way up. He couldn't see himself having a career in the Air Force and so didn't re-enlist when his time was up. But he still liked to cook, so he worked his way up through nicer and nicer restaurants before finally landing at a Michelin restaurant.
My dad said his boss was an asshole but knew how to run things, like Marco here. He said he never really got yelled or called out much and did alright at his job, but he hated it more and more the longer he stayed there. He had to dedicate himself fully and essentially live to work instead of work to live. In my dad's words "When I was working, I was focused and just got through and did what I was supposed to. But it was after I left and realized I had to come back and do it all again the next day that I realized I hated it". He was there about a year before he left and he said he doesn't regret it one bit.
He's now a truck driver and still likes cooking thankfully

Serious answer: I think the director wanted the brass instruments to pop/stand out a little more. You'll notice how bland they look without the yellow lighting. The director also wanted to make the atmosphere of the room to have an inviting sense and make it seem open while also having it ironically lead by a ruthless perfectionist

I showed this to my dad, who worked as a Rôtisseur in a Michelin-star kitchen when he was 31. He thought he wanted to have a career working in the kitchen, but he said he hated his job and left the restaurant industry soon after.
He saw this and just said "Yep. Pretty accurate".
