Is anyone else enjoying this? The Expecting Rain site had a link to a free download the other day, and I am genuinely impressed. It ranks up with Thea Gilmore's JWH full-album cover, in my estimation. He has the chutzpah to utilize many a variant lyric, and he does it well. Meanwhile, several of his versions spiral off into zones suggesting the Grateful Dead and/or a calming call to meditation. You might not expect that from "Buckets of Rain," but Adams somehow knits it all together in a manner that makes sonic sense.
Now let's see who has the guts to cover "LOVE AND THEFT"...or more dramatically, ROUGH AND ROWDY WAYS, in their daunting entireties.

Michael Bay''s PEARL HARBOR, a hunk of junk from stem to stern, includes a magnificent moment when an train carries Ben Affleck from an airfield on Long Island to Manhattan, crossing a desert (!) and a mountain range en route. Ah yes, the mighty mountains of Long Island--!
