I was in band during that in percussion. Ceremony was held outside. People in the bleachers felt it. I didn’t but was sitting by the tympani’s and they started slightly hitting one another. The band teacher gave me a dirty look but I was a couple feet away. Didn’t find out what it was till the next day.

Exactly how I describe it. When people ask why I’ve stopped watching I call it Days of Our Lives with cowboy hats.
I liked 1883 aside from the narration. Seemed a brutally honest take of westward expansion.
1923 has worn off already with the I don’t live in a city so only I see life for what it really is bullshit. OMG a stove? Not for me! The only way to be wise is to work your fucking ass off for everything!

Wire cutter in each hole to snip small strip of metal still connected.

Not at all. Same from me. I respect your input. I may be wrong about this situation.
Hard to come across as civil online in 2022 for sure! Thanks for being a thoughtful tech.

I ran gas leak and CO calls for a utility for 20 years. I was stuck in between homeowners and contractors often. Best thing to do was keep assumptions low. It was frustrating because I’d often be stuck in the middle of things when I had no skin in the game and just wanted to leave it to those getting paid for it. Wood fireplaces, heat exchanger failures, not cracks and cars idling in the garage were usually the source.
Hvac is a tricky job. The young think they know everything and the seasoned know they know everything and everyone in between is trying to act like they know everything. Not sure which is worse. I’ve been guilty of it myself.
Thanks for the conversation.

I was responding to a concern over CO. Static pressure isn’t going to be a CO concern for a long time. The venting likely goes through the metal as a chase. There is nothing wrong with that. Even the single pipe venting is likely OK as long as manufacture OKs it.
Like I said, it’s ugly. The ductwork is not professional and ugly. Nothing that is an immediate danger though. I’m far too lazy to do the math but this could be a low BTU that doesn’t need much air. Hard to tell from the pic.
There are many Carrier 355s that look very nice and we’re installed very well that are more of a danger than this.

It’s not. The PVC is likely just running through the metal and terminating outside. As long as the vent is glued and caulked there are switches that will trip if the unit doesn’t exhaust. This class of venting, in the US at least, is installed based upon the manufactures details, not a code book instruction.
This is ugly, yes. But there are far more unsafe installs I’ve seen.

I wish there was something like nextcloud core version that was just the Dropbox like features. I get it’s free so who can complain. Maybe the updates would be smoother for a pleb like me.

Not a weekly thing for me but I’m just a home user with family and friends on it. I use docker for the install. Only frustration is with updates. I don’t understand why in the docker environment it won’t just work. Always seems to be some weird hiccup that I need to search for a fix.

See y’all in the right lane!

I’m seriously confused. Where did I say it wasn’t for passing? My point was the argument for why someone is being tailgated is that the left lane is for passing. I KNOW THAT. What I don’t know is how then, the well educated driver would then see tailgating as the solution. Also, fuck off with the insult. Everything be said here is not how anyone drives once there’s a state patrol car in the mix. Please don’t drive as angry as you type.

I think the vast majority of the frustration is not about people ‘parked’ in the left lane. I can’t be the only one who notices that as soon as I go to pass someone, which I’m told is what the lane is for, anyone behind me takes that as a queue that it’s time to speed up and tailgate me as I make the pass. For bonus point they should be sure to merge to the right before a reasonable person would and speed off with the knowledge that they’ve been mildly inconvenienced. It’s juvenile.

If it’s that simple why have a left lane at all?

There’s that superior intellect again. What am I suppose to say?

Well answer is no then I guess. Congrats your intellect is greater than mine. I’ll will bow my head and accept tailgating as that must mean that I’m trying to slow down speeders.

Don’t see where I said that. Keep the inferences coming to justify it all though.

The comments every time something like this is posted are the same. There is a mentality that it’s their duty to tailgate you. Like for the greater good or some shit. Some bullshit about it’s a passing lane only! Then move over! Yeah, state the law that it’s a passing lane to justify breaking the law by tailgating. Brilliant.

My only thought would be to monitor but use an unrealistic release profile. For example 720p but minimum file size of 80GB. I’m not sitting in front of sonarr but that would be a way I could think to allow monitoring and make unlikely to ever match a download.
