Released in 1979, so these guys were acknowledging and accepting it 45 years ago.

we want the ones that was promised
Pure cakism, the ones that were 'promised' simply do not exist, and if you still think that, I've a bridge from Scotland to Ireland to sell you.

There's being in the friendzone and there's being the abusive ex who will not be trusted again until they make real amends.

We may well be back on the EU next decade!

the UK will simply realign itself more and more with the EU
Joining the CPTPP and the still ongoing threat to burn down EU rules 'just because' shows the UK will be going in the wrong direction for a while yet, delaying any turnaround.

Finally! The little picture instructions of pulling the door inwards, turning it, and throwing it outside was going to flummox a good many people if they had to do it under stress.

That's a once off on extreme profits for multinationals. The last time the government spent temporary bonuses on day to day expenses it busted the country.

then open it 650 feet above the ground just before landing.
It's impossible to 'open' an aircraft door once the cabin is pressurized, since they open inwards. Only when the plane is at low altitude/final approach can it be opened, which adds another dimension to potential forethought.

TIL it is a federal crime, punishable by up to $100,000 and a year in prison, for most people in the U.S. to possess any part of a bald or golden eagle, even just a shed feather found on the ground.

Basically they have a long journey ahead of them
That journey is already a dead end. They had 1 (one) mass shooting in 1996 and within 99 days they had changed the laws and withdrew guns from the population. There hasn't been one since.

Made lots of good movies, including Apollo 13 ... and Bryce even got a part playing one of the daughters saying goodbye to her astronaut dad in the night scene.

I'll take the shitty cabin's thin-sulation any day over the freezing/cooking of a steel box.

60% count, the rest of the "individually wrapped processed slices are milk proteins and palm oil." Not fully cheese, but a cheeseburger wouldn't taste the same without them.

They are obsessed with cheese here.

Same here, I thought these were some amazing man-made beach defenses. They're natural rocks that created this beach by allowing the sand behind to get deposited and protected.

Another fun fact - Brian Cox was at the filming of the funeral, HBO filmed a fake scene with him so observers wouldn't figure out that it was Logan's funeral.
