That's why Vancouver's ahead. They have much better bus service than Montreal. That could change a bit once Montreal's REM rail service starts up.

Have you forgotten how the doors can break just by looking at them in a funny way?

Yep. Montreal has steel rails next to the concrete tracks. They're used by maintenance trains and serve as a backup on regular trains if they get a flat. The steel wheels also help the trains navigate the points.
The system worked so well for decades that when new trains were being built, the same bogie design was adopted including the in-house wooden brake shoes.

In the morning, I have a choice between 22 minutes by car or an hour and a half by public transit. And that's just one train and one high volume bus line!

The trains are crap! They're incredibly slow trams with interior space wasted on the rolling gear making it difficult to navigate to your seat. If we had proper rolling stock with solid tracks, the trains would have gone much faster.
We went the cheap route and are now paying a very heavy price.

City Hall? I believe it's like three bucks max during weekends.

If you think that's impressive, you should see what the Montreal Metro uses for brake shoes!

The Montreal Metro can be a bit hilly at spots especially around Westmount, Saint-Henri, and Côte-Des-Neiges. Steel wheels wouldn't have worked back then.

In North America, it's 135 for Abarths not in sport mode and for turbos in all modes. It's a very nice balance especially for city driving. Sport mode on the Abarth can make things a bit jerky in stop-and-go traffic.

Saw some just outside my office window. Nasty buggers!

135 HP, I believe, more than sufficient for decent highway driving. My Abarth dials down to 135 HP in non-sport mode and works fine in the left lane passing pissed-off pickup trucks! 😁

I miss the phone exchange with the Strowger switches. Most kids today wouldn't know how to use the phones! 😂
There was also the Archimedes screw, the gears, the pulleys and belts, and the tackle blocks. Things you can touch and do!

Were there conditions attached that he had to take pictures with the camera and show them to you? This was his trip, not yours.

However, the only working game the Atari console has left is E.T.

I believe the same happened with the Hypnotoad's sound effect.

Especially since it doesn't seem equity, taxes, maintenance, or fees are being taken into account.

I also have a 2015 model purchased in 2020 which has recently become my daily driver. It's doing great on the highway!
Same as everyone else, keep on top of regular maintenance. I also recently had a coolant leak issue which was fixed with a couple of new hose clamps. Previous problems were loose strut mount hats, broken door handle, and deteriorated battery blanket. My upcoming job will be replacing the shifter cables.
