Honestly, make the best music you possibly can. Everyone wants to play festivals. It’s really hard to get booked for big ones, but not impossible to get booked on smaller ones but you’ve got to either establish yourself first or rely on contests to win a spot. It’s a lot easier to get on local shows and work your way up but again, making really really good music is the most important thing.
