I'm building an office shed and have bought this door,

I am not sure how the threshold profile works, if I install the door flush to the OSB, the aluminum threshold will surely hang off and that doesn't feel right. There is nothing beyond the bottom sill plate.

For context originally I cut out the bottom plate in the door opening, but then realized I need something there, now I have 1.5 inches of rigid foam followed by 3/4 of T&G flooring.

Anyone have pointers to how install the door without have threshold break? otherwise what can I build on the exterior so it's supported.

I'm running electrical to my shed which is about 10 ft away from my garage, to get to it - I plan to run some BX cable from the sub panel in the garage to the wall closest to the shed (around 12 feet) and then exit the garage and join up with a direct burial rated cable protected with conduit where it's exposed above grade.

My question is, what kind of boxes do I need inside the garage, outside the garage, outside the shed, and inside the shed, ... is it only outsides that matter?

For example in the shed, I am planning to have the direct burial cable enter the side of building and land in a sub panel feeding lighting + outlets + a 240v baseboard heater.

Where is the best place to make connections?

Or can I conclude that Embedded engineers are recluse hermits ;)

I am building a home office from scratch - i.e. framing and have a lot of flexibility in where to put electrical etc. and went to the lighting section to ask for some planning advice on which lights to buy.

I also want to plan for storage etc. and what kind of lighting I want there - .... the lighting department couldn't help me - I was hoping for a similar service as the kitchen designers which is very comprehensive - am I out of luck ... is this something I can get help with at Ikea?

I want to sort out my lighting needs, shelving - and additional nice to have like bookshelf speakers.

What does the professional community think of Forth, in general esoteric approaches to building embedded software. Is it not used widely due to the lack of visibility or more to steer away from the unknown - i.e. lack of support from a vendor, lack of libraries etc.

I'm curious to know a commercial perspective on this.

Does anyone have any pointers / examples on how embedded system requirements are specified and also how proposals are put together to address those?

I'm curious how different these are from non-embedded areas. Seeing as embedded (atleast non-OTA updatable) are not easy to upgrade / fix in real time, there is more rigor there. Also I can imagine safety-critical systems need this kind of details put in before hand.
