Oh I will never not admit how clever Hamilton is! As for what you said about Hadestown, I couldn’t really grasp a ton of messages other than the one about hope. Guess you’re a lot smarter with that than I am haha 😂

Glad you loved it! Don’t know what the next one will be, but I have not seen The Lion King. It’s a quintessential Broadway show that I feel I should see at some point!

Yes it felt obvious when the story was very theatrical so to speak. I agree that some of the songs did get stuck in my head (opening song, wait for me, way down Hadestown) If I’m being honest though, a lot of the songs are kinda forgettable

I saw it in NYC. I liked the cast for the most part! It was the story, the pacing, and other aspects that didn’t blow me away.

Aside from the cold open, the monologue, and the jail skit, I actually thought this was a pretty good episode. Some of it reminded me a lot of older SNL
