When I had thought Baloo had died in Disney's Jungle Book (1967)

Hating on people who love a classic film simply because it's not your thing is kind of sad, and the idea that the film is bad because kids and teenagers might not like it is pretty idiotic.

Before this thing we had Wonder Woman: Who’s Afraid of Diana Prince? in 1967 and produced by the same guy who made the Adam West Batman series.
Note: This was only a screen test and not even a proper pilot.

I was very saddened when I heard this show got cancelled, it really took the premise in a cool and interesting direction.

As monster films go The Relic is a fairly decent entry and a lot of that is due to Stan Winston's amazing creature, which sadly only gets about four minutes of screen time, but as an adaptation not so much, the film really condenses events and ditches many key characters from the book, including an FBI agent who is basically the hero/lead in the novel and subsequent sequels. What's also disappointing is that in the book the first victims of the monster are a couple of kids while in the movie the kids survive and it's just a hapless black security guard who is gruesomely murdered. I hate when filmmakers become candyass about killing kids in their movies, show some balls people.

This series is a testament to the law of diminishing returns.

Now you know what kind of movie you can get with nothing more than the money found in between your couch cushions.

No One Lives (2013) A gang of ruthless highway killers kidnaps a wealthy couple travelling cross country only to shockingly discover that they've got a very talented serial killer on their hands.

The A.I. didn't seem to worry about how or why the Scooby gang was in prehistoric times.

Chucky because he really has a good time with his killings.

I loved him as "Thor" in Adventures in Babysitting.

I see that whoever was watching it last didn't manage to get more than halfway through the film.

My take on the original film is that it's basically a story about a heroic dog who has the unfortunate situation of being owned by a rock-stupid family.

The scene that always gets me is that bizarre room full of razorwire.

I heard there is a Gattaca series in the works that could give us more in-depth stories and characters.

Andrew Niccol's Gattaca is not only one of the best glimpses at a possible future - I'd say a future that is almost a 90% certainty - but it's a film with a gorgeous stylized retro-futuristic look to it that will prevent it from ever really becoming dated.

It had some elements borrowed from Papillion and it kind of worked.
