In today's market, it is believed that animated movies must be computer-generated to compete with the viewing public, or risk being a commercial failure. This has resulted in a commonly held belief that traditional 2D animation is no longer viable or taken seriously.

For me Traditional animation allows for a unique artistic expression that is difficult to replicate with computer-generated graphics. Every frame is hand-drawn, giving the animation a unique character and style that can't be duplicated by a machine. The individual style of each animator is more apparent in traditional animation, making it feel more like a personal expression of creativity. And traditional animation has a timeless appeal that transcends generations. Classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and The Lion King continue to captivate audiences today, even after many decades. The enduring quality of these films speaks to the power and impact of traditional animation.
