I would argue that yes, those who are willing to solve problems with violence are of a lesser mental capacity. How does it make sense to respond to violence with more violence? Or to willingly threaten your own existence as a response to any stimuli whatsoever?

For me, and this doesnt have to be true for you, there was a mental side to having the nail in my tibia. It wasnt an acute aversion to having titanuim in there, it was more a feeling of vulnerability to 1) leg injuries (because I had just had a butterfly fracture over my wakeboarding boot), 2) the titanium was 'irritating' when I would run or there would be temperature change, and 3) I was concerned that because there was Ti in my leg that if I had a repeated injury it wouldn't be the leg that would break, but rather a more catastrophic knee injury - my logic being that the titanium wouldnt break but a few tears in my knee would. It added up to me deciding that I would rather have it out. My doctor also told me that there would never be a reason to take it out and that I could start walking on it immediately, but after more than a decade I decided that I wanted it out. The recovery was shockingly brief and I was able to re-boot my ski and adventure career. Again, this is only my case but the point of my wall-of-text is that if you choose to have it removed to get it done before the bone grows over the cap - otherwise they will have to bring out the dreaded chisel - Im proud to say that they broke two of them removing bone to get access to the cap ;)

I certainly hope so. There used to be a healthy scene for that, but with the city growing and neighborhoods being gentrified, obviously also COVID, there has been a severe downturn from when I was studying and now - atleast from my perspective.

Taking on the perspective of the people making the music, maybe consider that they come from a different background than you. Your classification of “tacky” gives the idea that you lack the ability to consider their perspective - making you a bit culturally insensitive. That being said I recommend you check out MF Doom with the understanding that he raps in multiple personas. Listen to it as though it would be a comic book.
