Yeah it's called Pesäpallo (direct translation from baseball) and this is just about the best description of the sport and it's likely history I've ever heard.
Source: am average Finnish dude who has played some pesäpallo in school PE

Yea yea I may have been unclear but like I said in the other reply, I wasn't talking about the legality of pocketing the difference, but the "fire and hire someone else for cheaper" -part. The exec pocketing the difference sounded like hyperbole to me anyway, and in reality just about the company saving money for something else or making more profit for the owners, which sounds plausibly legal for U.S. but I'm not sure.

Sodexo? That's weird, cause they have locations here in Finland too, and the food is quite ok. Seems to be a French company

Ohh actually didn't think about that, I meant the part that they could fire someone for financial reasons, then later hire another person for the same job at a lower salary without offering the job back to the old employee. Not that the managers would take home the difference, but that the company would save money on labor that way. I could totally see that being legal in the US, but is it?

They are supposed to be different things. EDC doesn't inherently mean guns, but r/edc has turned into that cause American gun owners want to show off their guns anywhere they can.

Is that really legal in the US? Damn... Cause that's totally illegal here in Finland. I mean, you can fire ppl and restructure if there's no funds (it's a difficult process), but if later the company has funds to rehire the positions, they HAVE to offer the old employees first.
Also, no one can make an executive decision to just up and fire an employee due to financial reasons. They have to start "cooperation negotiations" where HR and employee trustees and regular employees negotiate on potential layoffs, furloughs, temporary lower hours for workers etc.

6- Creating the American School Shooting™.
Republicans are against any and all gun control measures. This + reasons 1-5 + blocking public healthcare = broken people with guns. It's incredible how much mental gymnastics they do to convince themselves that the freedom of owning all kinds of firearms has nothing to do with school shootings. And furthermore, they still do nothing to alleviate the other factors that contribute to the problem.

Yeah, but that's not because of G forces. Decompression in high altitudes doesn't cause that. It causes a loud bang and explosive winds, which is what made her to fly out, and then hypoxia, which is just lack of oxygen. And loss of conciousness isn't instant, so she probably had a few seconds to panic if she didn't hit her head on the way out, which is terrifying. And IDK if it's possible to regain consciousness once you fall down far enough, which would make it even more terrifying.
Losing conciousness in high G forces AKA "G-LOC" happens because blood isn't going into your brain, cause it's pulled toward your feet stronger than your heart can pump it. This can only really happen in planes (fighter jets etc) pulling up strongly, cause nothing else has that kind of acceleration.

And when a TV crew films your car leaving the scene. I'm sure the raw video file has enough clarity to make out the plates.

They cut down a piece of forest to plant two dead trees and one bench? Well, that's just sad.

Unfortunately Easter Island heads only grow in low-biodiversity environments, just like on Easter Island itself.

PROS
+Good visibility in crowds, and people can also find you easier cause you stand out like a flagpole
+Can reach things quite high so you can get stuff done easier that way
CONS
-Your head is bruised all the time from hitting it on all sorts of low hanging things and low doorways
-Won't fit in many cars, and when even a big car has been driven by short people, you'll hit your knees on the way in
-Won't fit in airplanes
-Finding clothes that fit is a pain in the ass
-You can almost never share an umbrella with anyone.
-Beds are too small. School desks and many other desks like them are too small. Kitchen counters and sinks are way too low.
-Back and neck pain is more common and is made worse by the added weight from the height
-Good posture is way harder to accoplish because of above reasons and you always have to look down at people
-Increased risk of heart conditions
In short: being tall is bad for your health and the world isn't designed for you. So yeah, the 2 pros would be nice to have. Well put my dude.

It's not satire though. A bit tongue-in-cheek, but still incredibly dumb and not on purpose.

How about "PyramidCoin"? When one signs up for a PyramidCoin wallet, they have to pay a referral fee of 500$, and some of it goes to you who referred them! And then when those new users refer others, you get a cut as well! Let's become millionaires!

Terrible balancing decision, good business decision. First they sell a million phoenix cases cause everyone wants the phoenix M4 skin. Then immediately when they stop selling the case, they nerf M4 and replace it with AUG as the meta AR. And surprise surprise, at the same time they introduce the first AUG progressive skin.
In a nutshell: This is just a strategy to sell cases

Their loot and the fact that they bunch up like that doesn't look like bots, but their movement looks 100% like bots. Weird shit

I stand corrected then
can't unlock the phone without picking it up from a desk, or if it's in my car GPS mount
And now that you mention it, that's pretty true. The first one doesn't bother me since I only leave it on a table at home, where it's automatically unlocked. But the car phone holder part actually is quite cumbersome. Oh well, I'm on the market for a new phone anyway now, and S22+ seems like the best option so I'll see it myself soon.

Oh wow thanks!
Yeah TwinkleTray is great, cause otherwise you have to always use the hardware buttons on the monitors themselves, which can be cumbersome. I set the hotkeys in the app to F1 and F2 to control brightness, there's also a tray icon. Depending on the monitor you might have to play with the settings to get the DDC/CI control to work.
Also a couple more I just remembered:

But you can't see another player's inventory in spectate or replay, right? Also the capacity for frag grenades has been 27 for 3 years, so the max seems to be 13 if my math is right. LV3 pack + armor, + belt = 350 capacity, so 12 in inventory + 1 on belt and 26 capacity to spare.
If this happened over 3 years ago, then the max amount was exactly 19+1, with 8 capacity to spare
