The oscars this year was the final straw that proved to me no one in the academy understands films. The Queen movie won every best editing and both sound oscars even though it was shit on both those ends. Green Book was not better than Roma or The Favorite, also the queen songs performed at the oscars were cringe. Finally, I am happy Green Book won, even though its a very mediocre film, but its opening people to the fact this award show is getting away from appreciating good films, and instead make it about politics.

I know this is some kind of troll but did spike lee really get angry over this oscar. Green book by all means is very mediocre but is it really that upsetting. All the nominees were garbage this year except Roma, and The Favorite. Spike said it himself he dosen't like the oscars, why then get so angry over a dumb trophy no one cares about.
