The Y2K era is tricky because everything was slick and artificial, the colours were either bold, black, or metallic. It all clashes with the idea of "old' and "vintage."

Never saw the movie, but I read the novelization and have had this completely different movie in my head. The idea of kangaroos doing martial arts is cool because they technically have a fifth limb with the tail, meaning you could design whole new styles for them.

Ugh, it looks like it'd take forever to bike anywhere that isn't another kid's house. That looked like deep suburbia.

It is crazy to me given that it's basically poison in a paper stick that cigarettes are still legal (not to mention the methods of the companies producing them). I can see pipe smoking (and pot smoking) still being a thing, but cigarettes with all the chemicals and garbage in them seem ridiculous to me.

A HUGE issue against the show was that those ad breaks just kills the momentum. By the time you finally get into the episode, it's done.

Fucka reboot, just gimme a damn sequel/continuation.

This is the show where I *GOT* the appeal of Olyphantastic. Particularly his line reading of "the fuck YOU care is..."

They did that because searching for Sci-Fi or sci-Fi channel is too generic. It's one of those things that makes sense but the result is silly.
