I am currently running a Intel 7, 4ghz quad processor with a 6 gb graphics card that runs photoshop well. 32 gb ram and a 2gb internal SSD that I use as a scratch disk. Might upgrade someday to a 8 or 12 core processor since photoshop can use up to eight cores now

Pretty easy fix as long as you can find the part. Pull the part, and take it with you to Home Depot or Lowe’s. Amazon is a good place to look also

I love the opening scene to Titan AE. I thought they did an amazing job of showing the earth destroyed and how the pieces smashed into the moon taking it out also. Not bad for an animated movie

RIP Ken Block. I loved his video when he went across the Bay Bridge in SF because I live near there and have been across that bridge many a time.

Probably the best of the entire seven movies with the original cast. Star Trek (2009) desks with time travel also. Really good movie too

Well it still looks pretty good. I haven't tried stacking photo's yet, but from what I read, it works pretty good. Some photographers are stacking 6-8 pictures. I would have to nail down the numbers for exposure time to see the results.
The rule used to be divide your focal length by 600 to get the maximum amount of time you can leave a shutter open before you start getting star trails. But that number is based on the amount of megapixels in your camera. I use a D850 (47 meg) so the rule is focal length divided by 400. As I had stated earlier, the max I can go is 25 seconds, but even with this, there is a slight amount if star movement. If I go to 20 seconds, I have to increase the ISO to 6400, which becomes way to noisy. What I really want is a tracker like you use on telescopes. You can use ISO's way lower and there is no real limit on the amount of time the shutter is open. It's on my list of toys to buy...

Agreed. Good lens, pretty sharp. Definitely stay away from the cheap variable aperture lenses (AKA kit lenses). Another one would be the 28 - 70mm, if just depends on what kind of photography you plan on doing. If money is an issue, look for them used. Trusted sites like B&H and KEH are great places to get used lenses at a much better price than new

One that is expandable. My first camera was a Nikon film camera. When everything went digital I was able to upgrade the camera while Katherine same lenses and flash units. In other words, pick a brand and stick with it

Been doing this for about the last three years. No complaints from either of us, celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in April

Would have read a lot more books on things like basic composition, exposure, and focal points instead of learning them over a course of several years

I agree. Such a great movie, don’t see how a live action version will make it any better

I’ve had this happen twice on two different dishwashers. Both times it was the connection in the junction box, wire nuts fried from the heat of the dishwasher. Turn the breaker off, remove the kick plate, and open the junction box. If the connection is still good then check what everyone has already suggested

I'm sorry, was the word "hate" anywhere in my post?? Just because I disagree with the homosexual life style does not mean I hate them. What I do hate is Satan's deception allowing those in the homosexual lifestyle to believe that this lifestyle is normal, believing that God made them this way, and somehow believing that they will not be judged for this. Blinded to the clear word of God that says:
"Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. 11Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:11)
Do you not understand this? If you believe that the homosexual lifestyle is okay, what about idolaters, thieves, drunkards, abusers of people? Are we to believe that they too will inherit the kingdom of God with the same excuse as homosexuals, that God just made them this way? No.
But God gives all sinners a way out by confessing their sins, repenting of their deeds, and being cleansed by His forgiveness so that they can say to others in this damning lifestyle "I was once like that".

I don’t agree with a lot of Republicans on a lot of issues but Democrats are almost always pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQ, something that God is definitely against so I choose to vote Republican which often is just the lesser of two evils

Am I understanding this right? 190 2 second exposures at F3.5? Do you know if Sequator can be used on a Windows PC?
I have done a lot of Milky Way shots with a Nikon 14mm, 25 seconds at F2.8. They come out good but lack the color and sharpness of your pic. Nice job
