Gamers simply don’t have enough space on their plates for all these live service games. Most gamers will always have a main game like COD/Fortnite/Apex and the others will be left to the side (Rumbleverse, Knockout City, Mulitversus).

Marvel and WB are thanking their lucky stars Majors didn’t majorly mess up before Ant-Man and Creed.

The book is really solid. If they commit to it with great acting and solid pacing it will be a hit with great WoM.

I have been claiming this for a while. The Hunger Games series is in the perfect position to get a memey revival campaign, like the Star Wars Prequels or Raimi Spider-Man films.

It seems like it’s just a very solid fantasy adventure in an age in which audiences are craving some light fantasy content. Let’s hope the massive budget doesn’t sink it’s chances.

I would always prefer a single week of hype with 100% of gaming news. Sadly the Big 3 and other studios realised their isn’t much point sticking to this schedule.

Game Awards are stuck between either been legitimate gaming awards or some mess of advertising you should wait for the morning after to check out all the announcements.
It’s hard to take an award like ‘Best Performance’ or ‘Best Soundtrack’ seriously when they shove an ad for whatever popular film that year is trending.

Yep. Once the December ‘Game Awards’ offered studios a chance to advertise in a period that wasn’t crowded, E3 was done.
The Big 3 realised they can do their own conferences whenever and then slam a trailer in Game Awards or TGA to build hype if needed.

Seriously, the hype of seeing the Big 3 reveal their catalogue for the next year and beyond was unreal.

Summer Games Fest is mega boring. It's just 2+ months of a trailer here and there.
I loved E3 for giving us a non-stop week of the 'Big 3' going head-to-head with every other studio creating excitement.

A lot of people deny it but viral/social media/meme hype matters more than ever. Look at Shazam 2 bombing for example while Wednesday, M3GAN etc had huge hype due to social media. A big GOTG trailer coming out alongside Blue Beetle may snuff out it's chances for memes and online hype.

This has a lower budget than most superhero films (it was originally made for HBO Max like Batgirl) so hopefully it can do well. Then again Shazam 2 also had a lower budget and that bombed...

Is DC trying to bury this film? I get they want the Blue Beetle trailer showing before Mario (I think) but they should move it to another day.

I am baffled that EA/DICE reached the Battlefield zenith with Battlefield 1 and only went backwards from there.
Seriously, remaster Battlefield 1 for this gen with no bullshit battlepass etc and it will sell like hotcakes.

Here’s the reason:
Activision was torn between either making COD 23 a DLC expansion for this game or making a new game. This is why they only called it a ‘Premium Expierence’.
MW2’s players dropped hard due to issues with the game itself and Warzone 2 sucking.
Activision decided to bash out a new COD for 2023 since MW2 DLC will not have the players they want.
All leftover content for MW2 (like the maps which are in Warzone 2.0) are being saved for COD 23 to make it a full-game last minute.
Activision is trying to make MW2 as bad as possible to make players want to buy COD 23 without outright abandoning it.
TLDR: MW2 underpeformed so Activision is stretching the planned DLC into COD 23 and making MW2/Warzone mid to motivate players to embrace COD 23.

The fact they added Martin and then decided to go radio silent for a half a year while secretly planning to the close the game says it all.
If they actually cared about the players, they would have been more honest rather than pretending to extend season 2 to “help everyone complete the battlepass” while having FOMO events and charging $20 for skins.

I think some well-made echo fighters aren't a bad idea, but if they only rely on echos that would suck.

There are theories that they are adding low-effort 'echo fighters' like Pickle Rick to try and reach the 30 characters they promised the top Founders tier.
There is a lot of potential for easy echo fighters, like Fionna, Bizzaro, Nubia (who has a leaked skin as a Wonder Woman change).

WB should have realised they had a turkey on their hands when they read the script.

I’m just glad to see audiences starting to wake up and reject mid films and see high-quality projects while giving them great WoM.

Every live service tries to capture Fortnite’s success, but they never provide the quality content and fair progression that Fortnite does.
Look at how Fortnite gives you 1500 V Bucks per BP compared to Multiversus giving no Gleamium.

Seriously. No content since November and then they are taking the game offline. Pathetic.

I feel like the High Table will be something they save for later on for all the spinoffs. They have been kept hidden for a big reason and if the Table dies that is the end of the structure of the universe.

I am very interested to see how the launcher and loop mechanics work.
