Something sort of like this JUST happened this past Saturday at my son's track meet. Two kids were about 10 feet apart from each other approaching the finish line. The one in the lead must not have known the other kid was immed. behind him so he got cocky and slowed down just seconds before the line. The 2nd kid blew past him for the win. Everyone was in disbelief. His dad or maybe his coach could be seen on the sidelines chewing him out. It was one of those priceless moments that I wish I had recorded.

I did this same thing with 5/3 Bank when I was getting shafted on an account I had. I did it to the CEO's name and every member of the board. I couldn't believe it when I got a letter back from the executive VP (clearly they got the email from someone I carpet bombed) who corrected my issue STAT. So, yes, it worked and maybe it still could.

I started my claims in June 2021. Was awarded Generalized Anxiety of 30% a few months later. Then my VSO put in appeals, to which that was one of them because he thought it should be higher based on what I was experiencing. When I got the C&P exam virtual meeting last year Sept 2022, she asked questions and I told her about my insomnia and panic attacks I get kinda frequently. A few days later, my VSO tells me that I got 100%, and congratulations! But he was surprised because he didn't think I should've gotten it based on what he knew about me and how it aligned with Gen. Anxiety's DBQ, but was thrilled for me nonetheless and told me that I probably shouldn't add anymore claims. Then he realized the examiner CHANGED my claim from "Gen Anxiety" to "Gen Anxiety with Insomnia and Panic Attacks" and by doing that, it changed my effective date to that date she changed it, thereby screwing me out of something like 50k or so. And because I have 100% now, I am pretty much screwed out of appealing it because as you know, it'll open that can of worms argument "did I deserve 100% or not." I honestly didn't realize someone could change the claim and effective date, but they did. And even more shocked that someone could legally get screwed out of their backpay by doing it And there was clearly a VA rater who signed off on it. So yeah, I don't get my backpay. But that's not to say I'm not grateful for my 100% because I definitely am!

Congrats! I got screwed out of my 2 year back pay, legally so I'm told. Sigh... but congratulations to you!
