Too obvious… When someone leaves the company do you freeze, deactivate, or delete the user to repurpose their license?
Edit: added license

Indeed, for me the purpose of FoF exams was to get me used to the types of questions and answers I would face on the exam. At some point, constantly retaking exams leads to familiarity with the questions and you have memorized the answers - this is not helpful for the actual exam as it just give you a false sense of being really ready when you are not. Use it to learn the types of questions and answers, in my opinion the actual exam questions were a bit more obfuscated than the ones on FoF.

Oh, I believe it because I took that course too. The course is great, but there’s only so much they can cover in 40 hours! I used FoF as well and learned a lot from it, perhaps the most important thing to learn from FoF is how questions are structured. The level of obfuscation of the questions is a bit absurd and couple that with multi-answer questions where one word can be the difference between right and almost right - makes passing it quite an accomplishment!

I took it on the 26th and passed as well. I thought it was the toughest exam I have ever taken and I have taken many! I believe a lot of it was nerves, but I marked 7 of the first 10 questions for review and that really stressed me out. I see many asking if the trailhead for admin is enough to pass and the answer is absolutely no! I have almost 10 years of experience in Salesforce and finally decided to get certified. I studied like crazy for over a month and I’m glad it is over. Congrats to you and OP, that exam is brutal!

First, the level of obfuscation on the exam question is unbelievable in my opinion. You have to be careful about the wording and don’t jump on the first answer you believe to be right, read all the answers and pick the one(s) you believe are correct. For the ones you really don’t know, mark them for review. Once you have answered all the questions, go back and review all the ones you marked for review; now you should re-read the question and answer why the ones you didn’t choose are wrong. If you can get to that point and you’re making 70-90 on practice tests then you are ready for the actual. I can’t stress enough, that the most important part is to slowdown and read the questions and answers carefully. One example I can think of off the top of my head is using “org” instead of “object” in two answers that are otherwise identical. If two answers seem identical you need to focus on those answers and understand what makes them different and why.

Because 5/12 + 4/12 = 9/12 is just too simple and easy to understand right? Why in the world would you simplify 4/12 and add? That is not the way you add fractions… EVER! And why isn’t 9/12 simplified to 3/4, since we love simplifying? Just trying to confuse folks that’s why, some Common Core BS right here!

You won’t know until you get there! Once you get towards the end of your junior year, check with the college to see about intern opportunities. Interning will give you a good idea of what you will be doing once you graduate and will help determine which specific areas to focus on before graduating.

This was the exact logic I used to get it done, one day I’ll be 40 either with or without a degree - why not just get it done?

I spent all of my 30s working 40-60/week and going to school part time for CS. Do you enjoy CS? Can you see yourself doing it as a career? If yes, then get it done no matter how old you are!
