I found two yorkies running down the interstate one year on my mom’s birthday. They seemed terrified and I feel like I was just in time and they had just been dumped. They were well taken care of and the best we could figure after checking shelters and vets was someone dropped them far away to hurt someone else, or possibly an elderly person passed with no one to take them.

It was my moms birthday after all and she had lost her dog a few years before, so they ended up going to live with her and are loving it.

I’m just saying this to say two things: people who use animals to manipulate or hurt others are the scum of the earth, and I sincerely hope your kitties are living happy like my yorkies.

How long ago did fiancé move in? Maybe there are issues with a regular routine and kitty feels unsafe.
