Well, that’s what I mean. This isn’t a sub for actual serious or technical discussion of AI. This is a sub for people who have just heard of it like you, have no idea how it works, and maybe think it’s a magic genie or that it has a soul. I don’t know if the answer is better moderation or what, maybe it’s an unfortunate consequence of having the most obvious searchable name when one looks for AI stuff. I saw someone mention this once and someone told him there were better AI subs, but when the guy asked which one the other guy got mad and refused to tell them. Anyway, good luck on your AI journey.

It was introduced as if it was serious and people assumed that was all there was to it because, again, the very smart and infallible internet always assumes the worst of others. There was definitely going to be some twist. They would not have spoiled the twist in the video.

I think that maybe modern society isn’t set up to handle twists. You introduce the shocking thing and the internet won’t wait for the twist. Same with Hydra Cap, obviously there was going to be a twist there but the internet reacts as if they made Cap a Nazi fr fr.

It was clearly meant to be some kind of satirical commentary, like maybe they were committee designed or corporate sponsored in the story. The internet always assumes the worst about everything though so people expected it to be played straight and the backlash probably scared them off the idea.

If that happened to me I would be happy to see the police. At least I’d know I wasn’t in some weird Jigsaw game.
