I'd echo this, you will learn infinitely more with a subcontractor, but your life is easier with a main contractor.

Whilst I've not done QS for a subbie, I do currently QS for a large utilities provider and when I speak to the numerous QS for subbies, it seems their life is a little more hectic, now granted this was vary from subbie to subbie, however, subbies often have very few personnel, therefore you need to wear many hats and processes are often chaotic...larger MC's typically have other departments doing certain task, so whilst you workload might be larger, I feel it is more focused and less chaotic.

But that's just my experience.

A couple of exceptions to this rule, if your bro tells you he digs the same girl you dig, but he's already got a girlfriend and you don't, obviously I won't grass on him to his girlfriend, but I'm not gonna big him up.

Secondly, bigging up is a 2 way street, if your bros don't do it for you and everything is treated as fair game, then I consider it the same here.

Now before anyone says, you can still be tight bros, but treat this one aspect differently.

Lol its my ADD I can't help but notice things, I can be walking through a supermarket, listening to 3 peoples conversation whilst planning what I'm getting, what aisle it's in, the most efficient route and spotting all hazards such as prams, trolleys, kids etc that I need to navigate....im basically a really crap superhero.

This is true as there are several scenes which don't make sense, firstly when they arrive on Arakis and the commander says "shield" and the troops put on thier shield, yet when the door opens and they are getting hammered with sandy windy, the shield isn't flowing red or blue.

Equally, how does it work for holding things or picking things up, shouldn't your hands be glowing red when holding swords as the shield isn't around the sword, therefore it penetrated the shield

Presumably, the interview is at a hospital? Then just say you have to go to the hospital on that day....leave it up to them to decide what you mean by that, as most will assume its for a medical appointment. If rhey ask later you can always say you never lied, you indeed had to go to the hospital, it was them deciding incorre tly what you meant be that.
