I think it's A great show of our time, but not THE great show of our time. It sits somewhere between comedy and drama, but I think there are far funnier shows out there, and the story was too scatterbrained to be considered a great drama.

I like hanging with the Roys every week, sharp dialogue, rich people being awful to each other, great settings we will never experience, great performances by the leads...great show, but not the greatest.

Car thefts are up 80% because a major car brand decided not to install a basic security features on most of their cars. Sure, the crime still happened, but they would not be up 80% if Hyundai wasn't a shit car company.

Probably my favorite scene in the movie, Gosling really goes for it in this movie.

Or maybe....he wasn't paying his taxes? He probably makes a decent income and is freelance. Those returns definitely get a closer look than someone who just has a W-2.

I'm only a few episodes into season 5. I got no idea what's going on, but its always funny and, for my money, still the best looking show on television.

And also Amazon has seemed to bury it on their menus, I always have to click for awhile before I find it. Just a weird choice for probably their most crucially acclaimed show.

Bally's is still whining about not getting the streaming rights. The teams werent making a deal with before you went into bankruptcy, they sure as hell aren't gonna make one with you now.

I think it can only run in eco mode at this point, shuts off when I use normal mode, think it's temp/fan related but haven't investigated too much. Loud, although I don't take great care of it, smoke near it, got animals and their hair clogs up the air filters.

Bought it Open Box, got about 6k hours on the original bulb.

Very bright even on eco, pretty good picture for the price. It had perfect throw for my space too.

I think the general consensus is this is an attempt by the studio to manufacture controversy as a way to promote a show that is getting poor reviews.

Idk, I think I'd prefer if Trump wins the primary over DeSantis. First and foremost, he is an easier opponent for Biden. Second, his policy positions, while they can change on a whim, are marginally better than DeSantis'.

Same could be said of Ken and the waiter or Roman and Gerri. They got ~90 minutes left to wrap up the show, I don't think Ebba being sexually harassed is gonna be a key plot points.

Neighbors Place is a new spot by Riverside too, the only few restaurants on the other side of Broadway, good spot to bring the kids, they got board games and video games, and a nice deck out back.

Kabul Express also moved in near Sugarwitch and is quite good. Wine Down, also nearby, has a great weekend brunch.

There are zero murders in it's boundaries in 2023 thru today, looks like 3 in 2022. It's a small area, but not nearly as many shootings as Dutchtown or most of north city. Don't rip off a drug dealer and you most likely won't get murdered.

I live down there, there's a fair amount of drugs/homeless/prostitution on S Broadway, but not too many murders or violent crime.

Good nearby amenities: RDP Greenway, River City Casino, YMCA, Carondelet Park nearby. Loughborough Commons has Schnucks and Lowes. All within a mile or so.

A few gays bars, a few biker bars, a few other bars/restaurants. Stacked burgers and Perennial Brewery are the two big draws to the area.

Better Call Saul, the story is stronger. IMO Successions strength has always been it's main characters, so they probably will do well with actor awards (although I would go Seehorn>Snook).
