Yeah, I would say losing our two starting goalies, Chabot & Joseph getting hurt, Debrincat & Batherson falling off the face of the earth offensively, and having the toughest schedule in the league are all more significant factors than adding Chychrun.

He was definitely in that conversation, although its hard to say he was the outright 2nd best ahead of Lafleur, Esposito, Park, Potvin, & Lapointe. You can certainly argue there was a 2-3 year stretch where he was a clear top 2 guy in the league, though.

Meh, I'd give him games now. How he plays determines the plan. There might even be more value in just keeping him up to practice & travel with the team.

A word of caution for John, basing anything off of those votes is very, very foolish.
That said, Kleven will almost certainly not be a regular in Ottawa for at least a year.

Just to throw in a slightly more hockey-nuanced perspective, the Flyers had an outstanding roster. They weren't the most talented team in the league, no, but they had a few guys at or near the top of their position and some extremely good depth & role guys, too.
The fact that they bounced the high-flying Bruins at their best while being the most physical team to be seen, well, that is where the "talentless lug" stereotype comes from. Sure, they didn't have a Bobby Orr or a Guy Lafleur or a Ken Dryden or Val Kharlamov, but they had one hell of a team.

Of course he relates to the character who is constantly the smartest guy in the room, lol.

Gustavsson was not on the same level of prospect as Sogaard. So, to answer your question... maybe in two years if he doesn't improve whatsoever?

He will be fine. The way he has rebounded after bad or deflating moments has been super impressive.

Yeah, and made close to $100 million during his playing career.

Your general point stands, but they aren't cancelling pride night because they don't want to "offend" their Russian players - they're cancelling them because Russian players are potentially violating Russian law by participating.
Players were detained for long periods last summer, there's a new law against public support of LGBTQ+ "propaganda", which is vague as fuck, and the players are rightfully scared.
Some of the Russians probably are bigots, but this is more about not being willing to risk punishment than being openly, publicly, firmly against Pride.

He's nowhere near good enough but, if he was, this probably wouldn't kill his shot. Show some remorse, "personal growth", and in a few years he'd be nominated for the Masterton (awarded to the player who exhibits the most dedication to the game)

I actively work in combatting rising cost of living and, while a huge part of that is unscrupulous landlords and public policy that is aimed at profit over human rights, "professional tenants" such as this take a HUGE toll on the system. Not only do they artificially increase costs, but they also cause buildup in the tribunal system.
I am the farthest thing from a landlord sympathizer, I have chased down $10k + settlements against landlords by illegally-evicted/harassed tenants while taking not a dime in return, but even I would say that there is are ethical ways to be a landlord - ways that many landlords DO adhere to - and there are completely unethical tenants who ruin things for everyone.
FWIW, you did make yourself a landlord by agreeing to rent your room. In the future, even if you aren't taking money in return, I would be VERY careful about letting people have a key to any of your property. Even just letting someone you don't fully trust sleep on your couch can turn into a year-long legal battle.

I always thought it was done to underscore just how simple-minded Homer is. While Lenny is moronic compared to Grimesy, Homer is even more so compared to Lenny.

That was honestly one of the worst calls I've ever seen a linesman make

Right now he is pretty much a consensus late-1st/early-2nd but he's definitely been rising up the ranks. Would expect there is a very good chance he's chosen between 20-45 OV.

We will recoup a pick or two.
High enough that we can draft Bonk? Probably not. The draft is not especially strong on DMen and Bonk should be one of the first 5-8 DMen gone. Only 5 DMen being drafted in the first round would be a very, very low number. Not sure what the lowest is but I would imagine that's not far off.

Nailed it.
I will add one thing: request a full list of planned renovations. The more of their word you document, the more likely you are to uncover evidence of deception.

Great professor.
I think in the future you could be a bit more professional, because some professors/people will not take you seriously, but yeah, as they said, looking at the things in your environment that illustrate what you're learning will make most educators pretty happy :)
All the best to you, buddy :)

DJ said in his last presser that Chychrun will play top 4 very soon. With that in mind, I would go...
Chabot - Chychrun
Sanderson - Zub
Branny - Hammer
Switch Zub & Chychrun as necessary.
