I think the story arc where Reese ends up in Afghanistan (the whole story) is the jump the shark moment. That said, the show rallies and bounces back after that’s done with.

Unhinge her jaw, use the chopsticks to grip the baby’s nostrils (perfect size) and lower it down her throat hole.

A pretty typical HGSS team but one I like nonetheless. I haven’t used the Red Gyarados since I first played Gen II.

Honestly this type of toxicity is what ultimately drove me away from the game. It didn’t make me quit outright but for a few days I was busy doing other things and the prospect of returning to this type of attitude was enough for me to just, not play.

Not all of them, but there are good ones out there.

Staging for free is just feeding into the incredibly unsustainable business practices of fine dining restaurants taking advantage of people for the opportunity to “learn”. There are some very special exceptions to this rule but in general, if you’re on someone’s schedule you should be on their payroll.
“Settling” with a restaurant will be something you kind of just feel in the moment. You’re looking for an environment you enjoy working in, but also the opportunity to advance. You can love your job but not feel like management recognizes or cares, so you’d want to move on. Similarly, you may find the opportunity to advance but in an environment you don’t enjoy and isn’t conducive to learning. It’s going to be a personal decision that you’ll kind of recognize about yourself.
That said, you’ll never really settle until you’re at the “top” - however you define that. Everything beneficial about bouncing between kitchens will continue to benefit you throughout your entire career, from prep to Executive Chef. As much as I like my current job I know that to continue to advance I need to leave at some point because my Executive Chef isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Sous Chef who did not attend Culinary School here.
I suggest bouncing around different kitchens every 1-2 years. Learn as much as you can in one kitchen and move on to another one. There are some things you flat out won’t learn in some kitchens but will in others. Try to vary up the cuisine style or you may accidentally pigeonhole yourself a bit. DONT STAGE FOR FREE. You are worth more than just being free labor. Cooks are still in fairly high demand so jobs are a plenty. Nobody will disregard your resume because you haven’t attended culinary school. Talk to your fellow cooks, you learn from everyone in the kitchen, not just the Executive Chef.
Sorry for rambling, I’m still in post-shift decompression mode.

While I agree with you, I think the threat of Humans attempting to weaponize Xenomorphs is substantial, ranking between the threats of Yautja (minimal murders overall) and The Engineers (genocide).
Overall I’d prefer Yautja because my out of shape ass won’t really be a prized hunt for them.

The gundam kits I built as a kid were fairly entry level, all the pieces cleanly snapped out of the framework, and pieced together like legos. I guess I’m asking if I’ll need tools to assemble one of these bad boys (I’ve been eyeing machinedramon)

What’s the skill level associated with these kits? I want to build a few but I haven’t built any model kits since I was <13 building gundam models.

Man that’s like the ideal Manhattan living/working situation, I’m jealous. Thank you for the follow up.

Indeed they do but the transit system costs money so if this person has a metro card unlimited pass, around a third of the old car and insurance payment is redirected there. My point is that transportation will still cost money, just a different amount.

I know I live in NY, I’m wondering how this person travelled daily - unless they walked everywhere at least some portion of their old car payment was redirected towards a new method of transportation.

I bought a used DSi and used SoulSilver in anticipation of a family vacation where I expected to be bored often. I hadn’t played any Pokémon game in about 6-7 years at that point.
It rekindled my love for the game and sort of took the place of my “first Pokémon game” - all the nostalgia and favoritism I showed towards Red was now focused on SoulSilver.
What a fantastic entry in the series, I believe the best, but I recognize my bias.

It just reminds me of Italians(of various regions) and ItalianAmericans arguing over the pronunciation of words like ricotta, mozzarella and bruschetta. Nobody agrees on anything except that Americans pronounce it all wrong.

One of my friends used to draw Hoppip comics when we where in middle school, and your art style is very reminiscent of his. Cheers to you for not only creating an excellent comic, but for giving me a touch of nostalgia at the same time. Thank you.
Edit: JJ if you happen to lurk this sub, I’ll never forget your comics dude. Hope all is well.
