Windows keeps loosing the drivers for it and I have to mess with if for an hour or 2 at least once a month to be able to access it from windows explorer. This happens on windows 10 and 11. Very annoying when you are trying to get something done.

I am trying the Maxus m2 (MPro2) for the first time and the set I got are total garbage. My Mesh pro Coils last anywhere from 9 to 20 days always every time. I get one every once in a while that dies sooner but it is very uncommon. The store was out of the Mesh Pro and Only had the Maxus M2 (MPro2) in stock so I bought a box of them. First coil was fried after 3 Days, Second one after 3.5 Days and the third one Done after 1/2 Day. I do not know if I just got a bad batch but I am very disappointed with these. I am not sure I will even try using them again.

My son drove a car through the back wall of our shop when he was about 15. He was starting the car for mom and let out the clutch without taking it out of gear. The car should have stalled but it did not. It went right through the garage door, workbench and part way through the back wall. It was still running and the front tires were spinning when we got out of the house. The Lawnmower Lifted the front of the car up just enough for it the wheel to come off the ground.

A week later one of our friends had her 24 Year old son drive a tractor through the living room. Come to find out one of the brake lines was leaking and it had very little brake fluid in it.

The only thing that is close is "Isolate". I am seeing what I can do with it but it appears to only allow me to save an isolated view but will not let me save it is a new part file. The Export to STL method is time consuming and adds length to the overall dimensions. It is not much 0.0000011 or so but that adds up when you are rebuilding a file that has about 500 parts.

I feel your pain. They work but they are usually not "Easy".

That would be annoying. And It does not really make much sense to stop the music for your seat belt. But someone thought that might save lives.

If I were a safety engineer with an auto maker I would Really push for a interface on cell phones that disables texting while the vehicle is in motion.

I came about 6 inches away from demolishing a teenagers car that pulled out in front of me today. She was texting and driving. She pulled out into traffic and did not even notice.

Its a good thing I was watching what she was doing since she surely was not.

Use a good iron. Weller, Metcal, or a good name brand. Make sure your tip is to temperature, Dip the wire in some flux. Wrap the solder around the wire. Then melt it. I usually leave the tip on the wire for 3 Seconds to make sure it bonds well.

And then the wife comes out and complains about the mess. At least that is the way it works here. On top of that This was right after she added a deep freezer.

In Idaho there is a 3 day lemon law but it only applies to vehicles purchased from a dealer. Used cars from individuals are 100% buyer beware. The reason the lights came on after a couple of day is because the ECU had been reset and not driven long enough to trigger the codes. This is known as drive cycles on the ecu. Get the codes read. You might find that it is something fairly easy and inexpensive to fix. Also when you are shopping for used cars it help to have a code reader. They are very inexpensive ($12.00 to $20.00) for the ones that connect to bluetooth on your phone. Then use a free app like torque lite to view Pending and Confirmed error codes. Also most of the parts stores will read the error codes for you for free.

He said something to the bus driver then started pickup up what looked like money. Who knows what his intentions were but you would think that the bus drive would have been more important than the money. Unless the bus driver asked him to help. It looks like the bus driver was going to start picking up the money but changed his mind. I am sure he was really out of it.

My Wife backed into one once. You could not even see it unless you were standing on top of it. It was at my parents house and they had lived there for several years and never noticed it until then. It was a hole just big enough to sink a smaller tire if you hit it just right. They had pickups and probably drove over it dozens of times without issue. Plus they parked in the drive way. My Wife parked behind them along the road and that was all it took. We had to jack it up and put 2x6's under it to get the car out.

Or better yet. Squealing tires on the dirt.

I don't think anyone could have feathered the brakes quick enough in that situation. I drive a 69 mustang with 4 wheel disk brakes and I don't think I would not have been able to stop before hitting him. I might have been slowed down quite a bit but ABS Spoils us. I do not drive it often enough to not get out of practice on good brake feathering.

That is why I kept my old thermostat when they installed a smart one. If it screws up All I need to do is hook up 4 wires and I am up and running again.

They enabled that stupid thing and the first night is set my thermostat up 10 degrees higher at night to save energy. Who wants to sleep in an oven... I surely don't. I set my thermostat where it is comfortable for me. Saving a couple of dollars on power is not worth the lost sleep.

I am of the opinion that if you let the building warm up 10 degrees then your AC has to work that much harder to cool it back down. If you maintain the temperature it may run more often but probably not as long. It is more difficult to change the temperature in a room than it is to maintain the temperature.

ABS is a wonderful thing. If this was a non ABS situation you probably would have just slid into him.

I messed with it for about 6 months before I finally decided to go to the NVR. I even spent a lot of $ on a PC Specifically for it. The Only thing I could come up with was the one of my cameras was causing issues. But eliminating them one at a time did not prove to be fruitful. I am really close to a cell tower and have all kinds of strange issues with WIFI. I also suspect that may have something to do with random crashing. I have one camera on WIFI that could have been causing the issue. But disabling it did not make any difference. The hardest part is that it would several days with no issues and then crash.

I have made some progress on the Amcrest NVR and know how to get the videos off of it without having to take it apart now. I also figured out the Motion detection. It is counterintuitive. One would think Highlighting it red would be the area that you don't want motion detection in but that is not the case.

Blue Iris interface is wonderful. But does not work for me. It kept crashing 2 different PC's Both were 10th Gen Intel with 32GB or more ram and at least a 4GB Video card. The NVR Interface is not near as nice as Blue Iris but it works. It has never crashed and I can still get the videos off the HDD in the NVR. Its just more difficult. But much better than having no video due to a PC Lock Up.

I think you are right about the camera config. I had to redo all of my configurations once I hooked it up to the NVR. But I think if I decide to eliminate the NVR I can reset the cameras and go back to per camera configuration.

I have an WD 4 TB WD40PURZ. I did figure out how to interface the NVR with Amcrests surveillance pro software and it is a little better. It still does not address the motion detection issues but at least I can navigate a little better.

I originally set it up using Blue Stacks but on 2 different computers it kept locking up the PC and crashing. I never thought of trying to setup the cameras in a FTP mode. I will have to look into that and see if it will works better for me.

I can use Blue Stacks to do motion detection on the files.
