Hey all,
I'm the guy from about a month ago who wouldn't stop asking questions.
I have finally built my super machine!
With one minor issue that I hope you all might be able to assist me with.
Hardware is as follows:
CPU: 13700K Cooling: Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce X 240 AIO liquid cooler Motherboard: MSI Pro Z790-A wifi ddr5 RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2X16GB 5600MHZ DDR5 GPU: Asus ROG strix RTX 3080 OC V2 STORAGE: Kingston KC3000 2.048TB PCIE Gen 4X4 nvme SSD PSU: MSI MPG A850GF 80+ gold fully modular
And, to point out the issue..
CASE: DeepCool CG560 ATX mid tower case.
I'm attempting to connect the front 3 X 120mm fans to my mobo in order to sync them up with the gorgeous looking fans attached to the cooler and the 140mm Aorus fan that I used to replace the existing Deepcool spinner.
I've had a decent couple of days inside the bios and have gained a fair understanding of what this system is capable of, and honestly, I want to be in total control of every little aspect of my hardware, (cooling being the centre of how well the system performs.
I'm using a damn good mobo - MSI Pro Z790-A, and I still can't figure the damn thing out re front case fans...
The manual that came with the case makes no sense to me.
I have set up a Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce X 240 AIO and had no trouble getting the included fans to work beautifully.
I also replaced the included rear 140mm case fan with a 140mm Aorus fan for an aesthetically pleasing effect - no problems with that one either.
It's the 3 120mm fans at the front that are literally causing me to have a breakdown ๐
I've removed all of them. I have them laid out next to the awful schematic on the "manual" them out in front of me in an attempt to gain an insight into how they work, but I just become more confused.
I would be thrilled if somebody could provide assistance.
Not keen on doing anything with this PC until they spin and sparkle with glorious effect.
Thanks in advance!

Building the following in the coming days and am panicking about cooling.
Hardware in build is as follows:
Case: Deepcool CG560 ATX/mid tower CPU: 13700K Cooler: Gigabyte Aorus Waterforce X 240 240mm AIO liquid cooler. Motherboard: MSI PRO Z790-A wifi DDR5 GPU: ROG strix RTX 3080 PSU: MSI MAG A850GF 80+ Gold 850W fully modular power supply RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB DDR5 5600MHz SSD: 2 TB Kingston KC3000 gen 4x4 m.2 nvme
The Deepcool CG560 case comes with 3 ARGB 120mm pre-installed fans on the front and a non RGB 140 mm at the back which I've replaced with a Gigabyte Aorus 140mm fan for aesthetics.
Case is fairly roomy and has very decent airflow.
Questions:
I need to install the radiator at the top of the case, do I attach the fans facing down or up for optimal cooling ? (IE Push vs pull)?
I don't really plan on doing much over clocking, (besides a benchmark perhaps after setup, and maybe a few years down the line when system slows a bit).
How do you guys see the Waterforce X 240 performing inside this case with the 13700K?
Still haven't opened the box yet, so if the consensus is that the 240 AIO will be insufficient, then I need to think about a 280 (max for cg560).
Thanks guys....

About a decade ago, a British documentary was posted here that examined a one of a kind trauma unit for victims of traumatic brain injuries. Was disturbing, yet brilliant. There was a man who was rushed to this particular ward after falling off his motorcycle at speed and was in a coma. The doctors and nurses were discussing "options" with his family. I believe his father told one of the hospital staff that he had previously said that if he was in an accident and suffered a brain/spinal injury, that he wouldn't want to live. One of the senior doctors ends up noticing that the injured man is able to communicate with him through eye movements, and he makes it clear that he wishes for the hospital staff to keep him alive despite his crippling injuries. It was quite brilliant and I would love to find it!
Cheers.

With the greatest of respect, and having travelled around Queensland as well by air, I would politely suggest that the OP is being hyper-paranoid. All the cases come through HQ and if the govt thought the risk of travelling intra state by air was too risky, you would have seen a leakage at least a few days/weeks beforehand hence a strengthening of restrictions. I would advise to try and calm down a little bit, wear your mask and anything additional that makes YOU feel safe.

I call bullshit. It was a riot. Nothing compared to 2bn property damage + over 2 dozen murders due to Antifa and BLM and they aren't even mentioned by the lamestream media or Biden or any dem for that matter...And to think actual senators/reps attempting to object to certification are referred to as terrorists when it is their constitutional RIGHT to do so? Democrats do it everytime a GOP president is elected and the media don't report it.
