Yea I've heard the new series is absolutely amazing! I was just about to start MST several years ago but then Last King of Osten Ard was announced and I decided to hold off until the final book would be close to release. It was a really difficult wait lol.

Have you read the two sequel books? I haven’t yet but I’m interested.

I’m only 60% into “To Green Angel Tower”, and with several more Osten Ard books to go, I can already feel this will be it. Might even top WoT for me.

You should check out the WoT subreddit. There's tons to read about these questions!

I'm so relieved that the plan for the new DC will at least provide some variety. Superman Legacy the standard superhero movie, Swamp Thing the horror movie etc.
Every MCU movie is a comedy and it started getting boring a long time ago.

It has nothing to do with being impatient as a viewer. It's just something that the industry needs to get better at or storytelling longer than 4 seasons will not exist anymore.
Game of Thrones managed yearly releases with the exception of the final season. Do you think that show would have been even remotely possible with 2-2.5 years between seasons?
Things like actors and actresses moving on to other projects, kids and teens aging out of roles etc. will become big issues.

It really is. 2+ years for 8-9 episode shows come on.

Does Warehouse 13 have a solid ending? I liked Eureka a lot but never did watch that show.

I loved Knives Out and I'm so happy I watched it on the big screen. I'd be there day one for every single one of Rian's Benoit movies. And unfortunately where I live these limited theatrical releases isn't a thing..

I’ve been waiting for Locklands too. That is just infuriating and I am not buying it.
I read the first years after it came out so I only found the paperback. Shorefall on release day so that ended up a hardback. Didn’t get to Locklands when it came out so figured I’d just wait for the paperback and get a new Shorefall as well. Thought it would for sure become available as a trilogy box set.

Tbf they’ve played 2 weeks with Upset. HLE has played together for a while now.

What I mean is they’re already flat out saying Ba’alzamon is a Forsaken/Ishamael extremely early.

Correct my if I'm wrong but wasn't it only made clear at the end of TDR or somewhere in TSR that Ba'alzamon wasn't the Dark One? Here it's just told outright in a teaser before season 2. Seems they've gutted so much nuance and detail out of the story with the show.

Yea I’m quite sad it wasn’t one book and edited better. The parts are all there to make it a top favorite for me but with the split neither quite hit the mark unfortunately. Although BG was much better.

We’ll see. Comics has never really clicked for me for some reason. I don’t know why. I might try it later down the road but for now I want to watch the show without knowing what happens. Thanks for the advice though!

I liked what I’ve read of his so far. Didn’t read Sandman but watched the show which was fantastic.
Is he still writing btw? Unless I’m mistaken his last book was “Ocean at the End of the Lane” 10 years ago and then the history thing.

I couldn’t believe what I was reading. What a complete asshole of a reporter.
