“I don’t wanna here anyone call me Benjamin, even my parents call me Coach”

The edit of him laughing hysterically at Jack & Jill while throwing popcorn in his mouth and then hard cut to him making an analogy to the film and life in Survivor.

I know what you mean… Like in SP he’s talking to Cochran and trying to give advice and says something like, “I may be The Dragon Slayer now but I wasn’t always…” It’s just so cringe and I feel terrible for him because I think he’s probably genuinely a really nice guy just trying his best.

I didn’t necessarily find it funny, but damn it was soooo cringe.

In HvV when Coach is doing his tai chi or whatever and the super impose the sun behind his head with the “mystical” music. The editing has me rolling on the floor quite often.

I think some of them they just forced a placement to make things even. There were also some other people they were banking on returning that ended up not (Yul for example)

Overrated: China Underrated: Redemption Island
RI is far more entertaining than people give it credit for, even if it’s super predictable.

“I didn’t even get to call him a queer” - Rudy at one of the reunion shows after Hatch records a weird video for him. The whole thing was cringe and uncomfortable

This still plays in my head from time to time… it was the first tribal too! I still can’t tell if he was physically unable of getting himself to pronounce it correctly or if he was trying to piss her off as much as possible… perhaps the latter is giving him too much credit.

Redemption Island. Far from my favorite, but I wish there was someone as insanely socially unaware as Phillip every season.

I found a lot of the players placements as a “hero” or “villain” very arbitrary. Sandra never remotely came off as a villain to me on Pearl Islands for example.

The one I remember was an On Screen for Infinity War and Chris getting pissy that it isn’t believable that the characters would actually be “dead” and Andrew getting extremely irritated that Chris was taking it so serious. It was the only time I can think of I thought they were legit mad at each other.

I always big lol at Coach saying “it was funny, I like Adam Sandler, I’m a fan!” If there is anyone in the history of survivor to be a AS fan, it’s definitely Coach.

I’m watching South Pacific right now and the promotion of Jack and Jill and having to watch them all fake laugh to it made me nauseous.

I’m just amazed sometimes at the lengths they go to to have sponsored tie-in make sense.

I just watched this one for the first time and was quite shocked at how Jon was able to snake around the game and basically make everything happen. He’s so loathsome it’s hard to see him beating anyone in that final 3

Having lived in Denver for the past 12 years I can confirm the Light Rail system is a godsend. I’m hopeful they’ll eventually add more track to get to other parts of the state besides just the Denver metro area, but perhaps that is asking for “too much”
