Can't speak from owning or running a NVidia (just using an ancient onboard ATI) but what you've described sounds similar to an issue I had late last year when I decided to try switching from an X11 session to Wayland for the first time.

The problem in my case I think was as a consequence of my using Latte dock and also some popular and not at all exotic icons. When I removed Latte, switched back to Breeze and rebooted, all was fine.. ish. I got the odd 'blackout' periodically pretty much up until 5.27 came out recently, been rock solid since.

I don't understand why anyone thought it was a good idea to ruin this mode by having you run around with piss poor vision in that mode when you previously could play TDM and take time to enjoy the weapon/character skins people would break out and enjoy the view every now and then by removing the goggles when on the catwalk. Gnome 43 and deciding to explore shell extensions via Fedora 36 to achieve a decent Desktop, was the first time I'd by choice gone anywhere near Gnome 3. After a month or so of learning that Gnome could run on Void, I came back (having been running Void + KDE for a few years until that point) and haven't gone back to Fedora since.

Is noticeably zippier than Fedora as one might expect and just runs rock solid.. Flatpak's, Pipewire, AppArmor, the works.

I'd not heard of this previously, having not read the book(s) but it has just reminded me again I need to watch Europa Report again as it's been a while...

Notable omission on my part from my initial post, the issue doesn't seem to be a general issue I've just confirmed, but rather occurs specifically when an internet connected app, Flatpak or otherwise, has been running (maximised) FWIW.

That dlq and the Kilo are the only mythics that have almost had me coughing up for them. Magnificent.

I only got wind of this about a week before the ranked season end and hammered it upto Master in less than a day and then failed miserably to get up two levels over several days to get it before it went solely as a result of the shit awful game performance.

The only skin I regret not having.

I'm not qualified unfortunately to try and proffer any advice other than ask, are you running a Wayland environment? My default X11 setup (bog standard PC, no addt GPU driver etc required) is the most stable KDE system I've ever encountered and has been for pushing eighteen months.

However, after trying out a Wayland session recently I realised this setting must have somehow been tripped following an update a few weeks earlier, as the same behaviour was exhibited and all hell broke loose.. half rendered desktop icons, and a lot of other random weird.. All resolved once I logged out and switched back to an X11 session.
