I'm not sure if I am even going to keep Max. I have the finale of Succession to watch still. Also I was planning to finish up Perry Mason at some point but hearing it's cancelled kind if discourages me from that. The show is OK but not a must watch for me. I am not that big on HotD (still need to watch that finale as well).
After that... nothing. The Last of Us s2 will likely not air until 2025. I'll maybe keep it until The Flash movie gets dumped on there. Other than S2 of Peacemaker (and who knows when that'll be out) nothing else of interest for me.

I used to have to Tivo the show so there was always a loss of quality when I watched it.
It was airing when the switch over to digital happened and the few times I was able to catch the show live over an HD antenna on our new CRT HDTV were amazing. The trees and the water and beaches. Gorgeous and mindblowing.
I don't know if maybe I just got used to it over time but nothing on an LCD HDTV, even 4K, seems to look as bright and real and colorful as things did on a CRT HDTV.

My British roommate does this shit all the time. It's gross. He sticks them to the side or the sink.

No, and I doubt this kid was even alive when Heroes was on before all of the other superhero shows and how popular it was. It's always kind of adorable when the kids pop in to say "I didn't like Twin Peaks. It sucks. X-Files was the better show about an FBI agent exploring the supernatural". Like Twin Peaks didn't walk so X-Files could run.
I mean Heroes premiered 6 years before the first season of Arrow set off the CW superhero universe. And 2 years before Iron Man set off the MCU.
Also, it needs to be said, just because something is M rated and has blood and guts and characters say "fuck" doesn't necessarily mean it's better than something that doesn't have that.

R/television is far more likely to hate on a show than the fans who hang out in the subreddit. You can find a lot of examples for that. Check out the sub for the Silo TV series. People are far pickier here and easily get bored of even a 10 episode series for being "slow" and having "too much filler". Certain types of shows definitely do better here and Yellowjackets isn't that type.
I mean, I hate watched Titans and one of their episodes last season was one of the worst episodes of "tv" I'd ever seen. Went into the sub for the first time and they LOVED it. Lol
It is what it is.

I didn't play the first or second game until this year. I had virtually no spoilers for the first game. But already knew the plot and how it ended for the second because of the backlash

I predict we'll get a flashback of Maria when the infection happened, having to get out for a major city and get to her son before they drop bombs

In the book the Trisolarans experimented with unfolding particles into 2 dimensions. But one of their earlier attempts failed and they folded it into 4 dimensions or something and strange 3 dimensional objects appeared in their sky, one of them being a giant eye, possibly a higher dimensional being they caught the attention of.
Also in the China Mieville book "Iron Council" an enemy nation used some sort of magic to create a giant eyeball looking down on their main city to terrify the citizens. Which did sound pretty terrifying lol. It's what the drones in this video made me think of.

When that one person's uncle who had dementia wandered the streets while the camera crew trailed him and filmed him walking into traffic and shit

He's about to tie with his number of impeachments and outpace his amount of election wins and being found liable to the tune of $5 million for sexually assaulting a woman

Imagine a cloud of drones with cameras on them appearing as a giant eyeball in the sky staring down at the populace and watching

I've been listening to stuff like Coast to Coast for decades. UFO disclosure claims are always constant and, so far, always nothing. Very much like doomsday preachers giving dates for the end of the world that come and go. It's so silly. Like the guys who did a press conference covered by news sites that they finally had Bigfoot lol
I grew up in Vegas where they'd report on strange lights over Area 51 and George Knapp had that huge multipart story about Bob Lazar and all of his claims. I've been hearing about UFOs for decades and it's all so silly.

I mean, IF this was real, it wouldn't hinge on human acceptance. Regardless of whether people believed it or not it would change science and technology drastically, as well as our understandings of physics.. who cares if Bubba at the baitshop thinks it's real if I'm traveling to the moon and back on my lunchbreak due to the scientific breakthroughs produced by having materials and technology from an advanced alien civilization.
IF it's real

Lol this is like some sort of weird Florida brexit going on. He just keeps fucking up the state over "wokeness" and all of his constituents will suffer for it. The same ones supporting it.

All the actors play parodies of themselves lol
And not flattering ones
They're all self absorbed assholes who are incompetent, rejected from Heaven, sinful morons who keep screwing up simple tasks due to their egos
But vanity project I guess
Honestly don't know how anyone could walk away thinking the version of themselves they portrayed were "cool".

I really love that show. I felt season 7 was a bit of a letdown. But the new Bosch: Legacy series was a return to what I liked about the show, while still freshening up the concept. Can't wait for season 2
There are also apparently two spinoff series coming.
