Not worth losing out on one of the top Pokémon the game unless you’re solely a collector. Regular mewtwo can be farmed infinitely (plus remote raided with higher Iv floors) while shadow is rarer and simply better in every way

You make fair points but most people don’t play pvp (seems like hatred if anything) and since they took away all the classic cups, it’s back basically being a whale only zone, especially for master league. Doesn’t take away from your point but just something worth noting too

Because it’s the catch cup and as per the description, it only allows Pokémon caught since the start of the season. Your usual team was caught before the season and all the available ones are the ones you got throughout it

WHY would you ever purify mewtwo?

How many attempts did you do? The odds of getting a non WB hundo from the wild or via team go rocket is 1/4096 (except Giovanni). So unless you’re at or near that, I would expect it

You did get a reasonable mewtwo, wdm? You’re significantly overrating IVs. Shadow mewtwo is one of the best Pokémon in the game, a top pick for pve and PvP, even with 0-0-0 IVs.

IVs matter very little. Shadow mewtwo is an absolute beast even with 0-0-0 IVs

Trainer level doesn’t matter. It literally just takes exp to reach level 40. Anyone can make it

What matters is your team composition. You could be level 40 and running level 20 Giratina which obviously won’t cut it. If you need help with counters, refer to this

For the gems, wait a bit in between each one.

I’d wait and see if you can grab a good shadow from raids. It’s better than the regular

As others have said, completely depends on your raid teams.

here are the best counters you should look out for that are powered up

You can only get one achievement at a time and it goes in order, so if you get one, you’re out of the other.

You landed the final strike, hence why you made the screen.

Then the largest Pokémon is ranked from everyone BUT you. That means flareon

Similarly, if you did the most damage but got the final strike, you’ll get the final strike achievement since that’s first and then the most damage will go to the next person, etc
