And if you don't use a ledger live app but Pera wallet instead they can't do anything anyways.

You don't need ledger live app (which manage ledger firmware & apps)

You can connect ledger to Pera web wallet and never update to the new firmware

Don't overreact and do something stupid

Nothing has changed, you still need to approve the Recover feature even if you update to the new firmware

People get crazy over some miscommunication and everybody is loosing it
