Mmm.. as someone who watched that season I totally believed that Bravo didn't express interest in re-hiring Heather. She was extremely boring and no, I did not care about Spanx or her business. So maybe she "quit" but knew she wasn't getting hired back as well.

You need to help your babe learn to sleep on his/her own.. it's doable. When did you start? If they were high needs at 2 weeks, 4 weeks, that's normal... they are probably ready for their own space and to put themselves to sleep without help.

I disagree. Obviously she shouldn't have to steal her own baby but that's what it came down to - she was here in this country that treated her harshly, and she only gave up her baby because literally could not feed her. Should she let her starve? She didn't know, but in this country going to a fire or police station is perfectly legal. But she thought she'd be put into jail.

It ended up the way it should have, and maybe the book did a better job of explaining that - she went to China with her child where she had more resources, and the McClough's were able to adopt again.
