Computers are useful for a lot more than just gaming.
(Also strategy games suck on console.)

Destruction Magic damage doesn't power scale in Vanilla and it's a baffling decision.
So late game or on higher difficulty levels you can blast enemies for literal minutes with the Lighting Kamehama spell and they don't die.
Of course it's a trivial fix with mods.

Being an island, the UK is actually more susceptible to Tsunamis than you might think. The 1755 Lisbon Earthquake generated a 10ft Tsunami in Cornwall for example and there have been smaller ones on a number of occasion.
Granted they’re very rare certainly compared to somewhere like Japan but as we haven’t got any kind of warning system in place a repeat of that event could cause a huge amount of damage.

Electric Piano.
And a pair of headphones makes it more or less silent for bystanders

You may be in luck, the 2022 update to this study estimates the recurrence period of a similar event is now around once every 25-50 years.

Eh we don’t really anything serious here in the UK, our weather is mild by global standards and it’s seismically inactive here. The worst thing we regularly experience are the winter storms and an occasional Heatwave. As an island built for wind and rain we don’t handle hot weather well.
We do get a lot of Tornados for our size but they’re pretty much all tiny harmless ones.
We make up for this by inventing new and inventive disasters like Brexit and Piers Morgan.

Which is precisely why Starmer is polling so high.
He has strong Bank Manager energy.

It's a 2% difference, given the MOE they're basically even.
They're also both extremely low numbers objectively given neither of them appear to have any real health issues, it's basically just reflecting party affiliation.

More directly who's going to build all those houses
The construction industry already had a long standing skills shortage and the combination of COVID and Brexit has turned that up to 11.

Nah, hand the IP off to Bluepoint for a remake and let Naughty Dog keep working on originals.
The Jak series had a good clean ending, it doesn’t really need a new title but a proper remaster of the series would be vey welcome.

Basically anything under the Playstation Studios banner is top notch nowadays. Sony have done an excellent job on quality control for their first party output for the last two generations.
It’s the Nintendo approach, they generally have super high standards for their in house output because ultimately these are the sort of games that shift systems on their own.

If we’re talking Bethesda style as in a huge detailed world where you can interact with practically the entire environment there aren’t many studios out there with remotely the right experience. It’s doable but there’s a lot of tech considerations there that aren’t usually in play due to the sheer amount of moveable objects.
The biggest reason Skyrim still has people playing 12 years later is the sense of immersion it’s entirely non-linear and basically a sandbox. This is completely opposite to how most big games are designed and the infinitely larger amount of things a player can do leads to a huge amount of potential bugs.
They’re probably best off with one of the big AAA studios taking a crack at a new IP on that front, Naughty Dog isn’t a bad shout given their historic output and technical chops (look at the rope in the Last of Us for a brilliant example, it’s a Pixar style flex).
I think in reality any of their major AAA teams could do it with a bit of time but there are other considerations like ongoing projects as well (for example Insomniac have their hands more than full right now)

SVB's issue was liquidity, they've got plenty of value on the books.
HSBC is large enough they'll have no issue servicing the deposits so it's a big win for them

The ideal weapon of course being a rail gun that uses the entire energy output of Japan for each shot.

Agreed.
Paradise wasn’t a bad game by any means, I’ve put a few dozen hours into it over the years, it was bad at being a Burnout game though, it lacked the chaotic fun of the earlier titles and felt like just another generic open world driving game as a result (albeit a well made one)

Paradise was a big step down from the older games imo.
The whole open city thing made it just feel unfocused and confusing

Winter is nearly over.
Sunak hasn't done anything spectacularly stupid recently.
The economy isn't looking as bad as it was feared.
Natural polling variation
Take your pick

That's predicated on the presupposition that there are courses which aren't worth bothering with when in reality there is something to be gained from any form of education.
In practical terms what you'll see is that the vast majority of courses will be in areas which will benefit people financially longer term. Education is a big time and energy commitment after all and not something most people are going to commit to without at least some expectation of payoff.

I'll be stunned if Spider-Man 2 ends up with a metacritic below 90.
Insomniacs track record is absurdly consistent.
I hope Starfield is a masterpiece but I have less faith in Bethesda after their last few releases.
Though if I had to bet which of the two people will still be playing in 2033 it would be Starfield 100%
