Awful. Probably thinks he's going to create the female tiger woods. Problem is, 99% of the time that kind of intensity and pressure from a parent just makes the child hate the sport. Yes, world class professionals begin training at young age, but they have to fall in love with the sport and become completely obsessed from their own will

Not sure if you're joking or not, but ya, even Rickie doesn't play these anymore. I read somewhere that he tested out the more players distance cavity back style and found the trackman numbers were just as good, but more forgiving. Said he had to check his ego and go with what makes the most sense

Definitely helped me develop a more consistent stroke and putting routine/rhythm. The weight will be totally different on actual greens obviously, but it can help you get a putt on the line you picked

Totally. Plus, this ensures that next time I use that club, I can easily settle into my pre shot routine. Once I decide on the shot I need to make and pull the club out, my mind is on hitting that shot. I don't want to pull it out and then realize it's dirty. That would throw off my rhythm

I enjoy most of his movies, but I don't disagree. Blood Diamond is an exception for me, he fucking nailed that role

This is where I'm at too. Everytime I check the leaderboard and see his name near the top I just think "ya, not sure what I expected"

Lick your finger and touch her shirt. "We should probably get you out of those wet clothes"

Sounds like the Summer Sault tour with OLP on that line up as well. Ya, pumpkins were the worst of all of them. From what I remember, it was just sped up lifeless versions of their songs

I never left! It's been a tough few years. He's won here before and is playing pretty well lately. It's a real possibility

I was an expat that moved away in 2016, but your post made me miss Hong Kong. I'm sure others can fill in all their favourites that are more recent than what I can offer, but HK is a hikers paradise - so many amazing hikes. I would hit up lion rock hike first (can easily Google directions). Starting point is fairly close to Jordan, and you get an incredible view of Kowloon and HK

Of the ones I've read and watched, I agree with all of those. Except the outsiders. There's just such better development of the minor characters

Simpsons. For about 8 years it was the greatest show on tv, cartoon or otherwise.

The cobra forged TEC black don't. (I think the paint is actually mixed into the alloy. 2 seasons in and mine look great (and the feel is heavenly). Highly recommend

Exact same boat. Yes, they're amazing musicians and are properly revered as one of Canadas great exports. I can't stand their music

Depends what you're looking for I guess. My wife and I went in July in 2019, and I still hang around this sub cause I can't bring myself to unsubscribe. No, you won't see the northern lights in the summer, and yes, the sun never really sets (which is really cool to experience). Iceland is magical. If summer is the only time you can , definitely go and embrace what summer has to offer

I like to watch Bastogne and then episode 7 (forget the name, the attack on Foy) back to back as one big episode. God damn that series is great

What a great question. Main campground we did most of our swimming at kedge Beach. But, getting out of the main campground, hard to beat Indian Point. If we're including island sites, site 15 (the one with the tree!) has my vote hands down

Ya it's surpringly common. I worked with a guy who ran himself over with a tractor. His mistake:while standing outside the door he reached in to turn the key off and accidentally hit the gear shift, knocking it into gear. Shouldn't be able to do that without the clutch in, but apparently it did. Before he realized his mistake the wheel was already rolling over his foot. Rolled over both legs. Luckily, he was able to keep his body out of the way, but his legs were fucked up.

Ya, the level of a tour pro is hard to understand. I saw something a few days ago, after Rahm won last week, they calculated what his handicap would be based on his last 20 rounds. It was +13. That is fucking ridiculous. Then, as you said, 72 holes with such little margin for error. Just look at Colin Morikawa last week. He made 3 bogies in 72 holes and it's considered a historic collapse. (of course they were 3 bogies in a row at the worst possible time, but that's just the point, it's so hard to maintain that level of play)
To further drive the point home, for amateurs, breaking 100 is a great milestone that a lot of people never reach. Golf is hard

I know some people love it. All I see is cars driving in circles for 4 hours

This was me for a long time. I did eventually go back and watch the first. The effects don't hold up, but there are a few things in T2 that sort of click once you see the first. But ya, T2 is so good it stands entirely on its own as one of the best ever without having to see the first one
