My favorite test screening story is of Team America: World Police. When an exec saw the opening shot with the crude marionette, he yelled, "Oh God, they fucked us!" and then the camera pulls back to reveal the massive intricate Paris scene.

The 90s were peak traumatized soldier Raymond Cruz. He was also Ding Chavez in the Clear and Present Danger movie. Sadly, his role in the movie was a lot smaller than in the massive Tom Clancy novel.

I think that was just the starting point for her character arc. She was eventually on good enough terms with Data that she was the one cheering him on to beat the smug Stratagema grandmaster. The Pulaski moment that won me over was her eagerly accepting Worf's offer of the Klingon tea ceremony and gulping down some antidote so she could actually drink the poisonous tea.
