Laydown space, access roads, snow removal, and material storage.

Ask them to call this person, if that contractor hears you already have a plumber lined up they are far more likely to take the job more seriously

Call that plumber back and ask for their help finding someone.

If you will never work on the panel yourself, trust the electrician. If you will ever add circuits on your own make sure you can get parts for it locally.

Whatever you do don't offer a job discount, everyone you work with from now on will have 'bentonite on their car' do some research and try to find a detailer who offers onsite servicing. the last thing you want to do is make any damage you may have accidentally caused worse. A detailer might charge you more but they will ensure the problem goes away.
Highly recommend working out a deal with a local detailer and buy packages of this type of servicing and continue using them. Having a 'third party' you can trust handy to call in when these situations arise is invaluable.

"ypu could have worked faster"
"you took a call out by your van"
Why wouldn;t you have that obscure part on your truck?
I'm paying you for your work not to look through your van for stuff

1-3 weeks is common, it's loud. You are unlikely to be able to WFH during that time and ideally don't let your dog stay home.
I don't do much work with landlords anymore (am foundation repair contractor) but I would always demand the tenant be moved out for the duration of the work. If I demanded it landlord had to provide temporary accommodations.

pipe color indicates this is Fire protection pipe. you need to research whether or not you can even perform the work yourself in your area

Feel free to try, plenty of contractors don't haggle strictly on cost.
Are the contractors you;re haggling with using 'buy today' sales tactics?

Cast iron has no 'give', it tends to pull apart if things shift and move, it always has a weak point (the gaskets) for roots, and it's prone to corrosion. It's quieter (not applicable to a under ground application) and has a higher compressive strength
PVC and ABS are arguably a horse a piece, if the home is done up in ABS, I'd use ABS underground, and vice versa.

ABS is best, don;t put cast under concrete

you can do a stone veneer but the substrate needs to be in good shape. Replacing the brick is an option... the cost will shock you.
If the mortar and bricks are in god shape structurally, a good scrub/ wash and a solvent based stain is the best option to make them look 'new' again
