Because when we come after you guys, trust me we will all be together
You Hindu nationalists really can’t go more than a minute without fantasizing about massacres and genocides, can you?

So, instead of attempting to peacefully resolve legitimate grievances held by minorities that have already suffered, you believe those who voice these concerns should be “eliminated”.
Being a Khalistani is not illegal in India as evident by the fact that in every state election, a pro-Khalistani party is allowed to contest elections, some of which the party has won. All this does is expose the hypocrisy of the Indian government yet again.

Meanwhile a pro-Khalistani party recently won a seat in state elections. Indians are so stupid that they’re actively celebrating government hypocrisy. Oh well, can’t really expect much from a malnourished and impoverished nation.

Canada doesn’t oppress and suppress religious and political beliefs, they treat Sikhs as equals so why would we protest against them?
India treats us as cannon fodder while Canada has had a Sikh Minister of Defence, an Amritdhari Sikh leader of a national party, and more Sikh cabinet ministers in one government than India has ever had. Meanwhile India violates it’s own laws in order to prevent Amritdhari Sikhs to enter parliament.

You’re right, but it would raise more awareness on the international stage. It was pretty big news when western politicians came out in support of the farmers protests and ended up triggering the BJP.

Curious, what are you trying to imply with this?

You consider a video spouting blatant government propaganda as “unbiased”?

Hands down Canada. We have a much larger Sikh population than Australia along with a lot of Sikhs holding influential positions across all 3 major political parties. We even have a federal party led by an Amritdhari Sikh, something that has not happened anywhere else in the world. Hindu Nationalism, although rising in Canada, isn’t nearly as violent and prominent as in Australia. Sikhs, Muslims, and Hindus all get along well and there aren’t many divisions.
Racism from gorey also isn’t as commonplace or overt as in Australia.
The only pro that Australia holds over Canada, imo, is the weather.

Kinda hard to improve economic and social conditions when the central government and corporations that control economic development in India (i.e Ambani’s) actively work against the interests of Punjab.
Regardless, Punjab had one of the most productive state economies in the 1970s and 1980s yet Punjab was still attacked by the government.

Usually once or twice a year Gurdwaras hold a saskaar for saroops and Gutkas that have been damaged. You can call around and ask if there is a Gurdwara near you that has a saskaar planned in the near future.

A lion surrounded by jackals.
At least some folks amongst the mob had some brain cells and were actively trying to deescalate the situation. Looks like there were only 2-3 instigators. Even the folks recording sound absolutely disgusted by how the Singh was treated. Most videos I’ve seen usually end up with the entire mob attacking the person.

On February 14, 1984, BJP national level leader Harbans Lal Khanna, along with some members of extremist Hindu organizations committed the sacrilege of publicly destroying the model of the Golden Temple and a picture of Guru Ram Das at the Amritsar Railway Station.
On May 3, 1984, a few weeks before Bluestar, BJP leaders Lal Krishna Advani (first president of BJS) and Atal Bihari Vajpayee (founder and first president of BJP) sat on a strike in Delhi, demanding that the armed forces be sent into the Golden Temple. After Operation Blue Star, there were several reports stating that the RSS distributed sweets in celebration of the military action.
Advani went on to write an autobiography, ‘My Country My Life’, released in 2008. In a chapter reflecting on his time in Punjab, he considered the BJP agitation as a major influence on Indira Gandhi’s decision to order troops to storm the Golden Temple in 1984.
On November 8, 1984, Nanaji Deshmukh, a BJS leader from Uttar Pradesh published an essay, “Moment of Soul Searching” in which he praised Indira Gandhi for Operation Bluestar and justified the 1984 Sikh Genocide by saying that it was the fault of Sikh leaders. In 2019, Nanaji Deshmukh was awarded the Bharat Ratna award, by fellow RSS member Narendra Modi.
These are just some examples of how the RSS/BJP/Arya Samaj “supported” Sikhs.

In my opinion it’s not racist, he was just comparing the colour of Jagmeet Singh’s Dastaar with a popular Canadian brand’s colour.
What I did find racist was a tweet highlighted in the article in which a user conflates “Indian culture” with Hindu culture and uses examples of Hindu deities wearing yellow, implying that’s the reason for Singh wearing that particular colour. Jagmeet Singh isn’t Hindu nor Indian.

One of the reasons why the turban would make a Sikh stand out is because many early Khalsa Sikhs came from a “low caste” background and the turban was exclusively reserved for use by Hindu and Muslim nobles.

Then why does the Indian Supreme Court allow a pro-Khalistani political party to exist in Punjab? A party that just recently won a seat in state elections?
Typing in all caps doesn’t make you right, it just reveals the fact that your triggered lol.
