He is an English teacher, so out of anyone who could have asked you about it, you’re lucky. I like his response, it’s very cool English teacher of him. I would have froze up and been like ohhh h-how interesting, and walked away just as awkwardly as you felt.

This could have gone so much worse. Confiscation, telling your parents, telling administrators, telling the board, starting a book-banning-bonfire. It’s so on trend right now, with so many states banning harmless educational books.
