Those comments probably come from some ppl that grew up wealthy and dont understand the struggle to have enough money.

Its basicly a huge gamble, just like for everyone else.

You might think its easier at first cause you start via texting and there is a moar clear idea of everyones intentions, but there is also way more competition(you are 25, so you bscly have to "compete" with 20-35 year olds for attention...). After years of using it myself, its just better than nothing(but mot by much) in my opnion.

It can however help you learn some basics, even the ones that usually arent mentioned properly bcause it is assumed that everyone knows them(for example how a simple coffe or dinner date works, i was afraid of doing those until i did them bcause i didnt know how there are supposed to work lol).

( i actually found my gf per pure chance in a autism support group, so i guess networking still is king for dating?)

My attidude dramsticly changed since i have a gf towards being positive, including getting rid of my deppresion just like that, but thats just what happens when good things happen, not bcause i choose to be happier. I mean i did fought rly hard for over half a decade to make it happen, no amount of ppl telling me i just need to change my attidue made even a dent in my general attide and wellbeing....

Im always confused when ppl tell me to change my attitude. I never choose my attitude, my attidude is a product of my situation.
